Ideal video resolution setting on AVR

hi .. need inputs given the ff:
1. TV - Sony KD 49X7500E (4k/HDR)
2. AV Receiver - Onkyo TX-NR515
3. Hook-ups - Xbox 1s, Sony PS4, Samsung BD player, Switch

i usually watched 4k / regular bd movies and play some games  - my query is what's the ideal video resolution setting for my AVR?
 <1080P> , <1080p/24>, <4k Upscaling> or <Auto>

Try both Auto and 4K Upscaling to see which one you prefer.
