Looking forward to buy a new tv is it worth it to buy a 75" for more price rather than buy a 65" version which cost alot cheaper??

Depende sa viewing distance.. 75 inch tv is impressive but hard to watch if viewing distance is limited.

75 if you're willing to pay for it and sit at least 5 ft. away from the screen. The larger field of view makes it more immersive.

i have a 60 inch plasma and have always wanted to get something bigger pero 65 inches lang ang kayang budget.ilang beses akong nagsukat and finally decided na masyadong maliit ang 5 inches na increase sa size for it to matter then naka tsamba ng 70 inches na sharp na 50k lang kaya bumili na ako.

i will always go for the biggest i can afford at pasok sa viewing distance ko.

Worth every penny if viewing distance and budget is not an issue, otherwise get the best picture quality TV within your budget

But you will certainly miss some scenes in a movie due to your immersive view..

In a cinema i dont sit in front or in the middle.. i choose the farthest seat so my eyes need not to wander the big screen.

Why not get a 65 inch 4K Oled tv? Sony or LG have released their "active HDR" or PRO HDR?

If your viewing distance is around 4 to 5 meters, I suggest go for the 75" and audition the TCL 75c2 and compare it with the Sony 75x8500e

If viewing distance is below 4 meters then 65" it is. Check out the LG 65c7 Oled TV, Sony 65x9000e, Samsung 65QLeds and TCL 65x3

That depends on the viewer. 75" at normal home viewing distances isn't anywhere as big (in terms of field of view) as a cinema screen from the front row.

The choice of an IPS screen in this case may be worth worrying about, however. The 75" model for this line runs an IPS panel according to online sources.

X8500E at the 75" size uses an IPS panel. IPS panels are known for relatively poor contrast and uniformity.

Aside from the 75C2 suggested by Louie, the 75MU6100 may be worth a look too (especially if you can control your room's lighting). The latter sells for around 135k.
