Topic: Pioneer 1020k Video display disruption problem

Hi po,

Ask ko lang po kung mayroon ng naka experience nitong ganitong prob sa AVR.

My Pio 1020k, 110v. po kasi nawawala yung display nya, (but yung audio nya meron pa rin) kapag :

#1.  Nag-ON or OFF kami ng main light sa salas (flourescent light)
#2 . Nag-On or OFF ng ceiling fan
#3.  Kapag malakas masyado yung low freq nung sub woofer ko mawawala rin sya.

Di ko alam kung sa transformer ko yung defect, Im using a 500 watts ISUKI Auto Volt and yung Pioneer ko lang yung nakasaksak doon.

Or may defect na itong Pio 1020k ko

P, I don't have a spare transformer para ma test kung yun nga prob

Hi sir Chris, i thinks po sa transformer po yan kasi nabalik naman po yung video. I suggest try nyo po ang voltage regulator  na atleast 1500Watts and see if the same issues occurs..

samsung plasma po ba kaya 250watts?  if its 220V, best to try to plug from a socket/surge suppressor to unload from your transformer then test again...  baka di kaya ng 500W transformer both Pio 1020K + TV.  yung sub mo ba naka-hiwalay din, wala sa transformer?

Sorry correct ko lang po, mali po sabi ko hehe, yung sa transformer 500 watts yung Pioneer lang po pala nakasaksak dun.  Yung tv ko nakahiwalay.  Pero magkatabi sila sa main socket nakasaksak

1 & 2 are symptoms of an electrical surge. Malamang yun din sumira sa 521 mo.

Possible solutions:
1. Use surge protector (I can install capacitors, chokes and varistors in your Isuki para built-in line conditioning na)
2. Have an electrician check your wall outlet, baka may loose connection or contacts sa terminals.

Thanks Sir, already found the culprit...my HDMI cable, replaced a new one and ayun di na sya namamatay...thanks
