LF: Room Acoustics Expert
« on: Apr 19, 2018 at 02:03 PM »
Please refer me experts on room acoustics. I'm converting a kids room into a dedicated listening (maybe HT) room. The room is quite small, it's a 10'3" wide x 10'8" long that has an alcove that is 6'5"W by 7'2". Height of the room is around 7'8".

I'd prefer that the expert is familiar with scientific calculations, room acoustic theories, and measuring instruments, or if not, at least has some reference sites.

TIA!

Meron sir pero mahal kapag may measurements before and after. Usually as consultant with measurements using level 1 instruments nasa P100k minimum. Another P100k minimum for design. These are the people who built popular places like movie houses, churches etc.

I see sir Nelson. So normally, the tuning is done by ear? Okay, who is recommended then?

For not so crucial applications it can be done by ear, experience and preference. But of course it has to be backed by scientific facts otherwise it will be a hit or miss.
