Topic: Xgimi Z6 vs. Xgimi CC

Hello long time no smell hehe, I told myself before about the Z6 that I will get it when all is OK with the firmware fix & that I can still use my CC, but my son surprised me on my birthday & gave me the New Xgimi Z6 (thank you Jester Paul). I am just an average projector user & just started last year with the Xgimi CC(awesome sound). All pictures taken with the Mate 8 & only resize was done to the pictures.

Z6 screen is more bright & white but the CC screen is bigger at the same distance


here are some comparisons, might not see much in pictures but in actual Z6 looks much better

Projected on the ceiling at 45 degrees, looks good to watch while lying on the bed. -38 keystone adjustment.

About 95 inch screen size, Projector distance around 8 Feet
 Z6, 4K Movie output to 1080p, actual movie is better than these pictures.






some color bleeding/ chromatic abberation(CA)


overall I am happy with the Z6 & i hope the issues can be fixed by a firmware update, but i guess the firmware cannot take out the dust.
 
so here is my impression of the Z6 & with a comparison with the Xgimi CC 720p projector.
 - Z6 picture is much better
 - Z6 is much lighter but the fan is louder than the CC
 - Z6 Firmware is only Version 1.xx.xx
 - Z6 output in the headphone not to strong, already full volume in the z6 & Full volume in the soundbar
 - CC sound is much better even in the headphone out, bass is more hard & strong, volume setting only about 3/4th & is good already
 - CC picture is Bigger than the Z6 at the same distance
 - CC Firmware is already mature & fix previous problems

I think some of the Xgimi's line is on lazada.
Me & my son are working here in china kaya may easy access kami, yun nga lang mga local product ito kaya puro chinese yuny mga menu pero madali namang ma translate.

AFAIK you are comparing CC Aurora 720p 350 ansi lumens projector to the newest xgimi Z6 model, which is 1080p native reso

and has 700 ansi lumens, right?

Xgimi Z6 still a Chinese version since this is new, but CC Aurora already has an International version.

For me I am waiting for the international version on Xgimi H2.
