Ah!  You're emphasizing rankings.  You are arguing a different matter.  First you argue if players are still considered all time greats even if they have numerous losses in the finals which I was not pointing out.  Then you are now arguing rankings which again I am not pointing out.

Again my point is all time greats usually win more than half of their finals appearances.... which you yourself proved.

You can actually post multiple sites placing Lebron's ranking.  Even those one's that place him number 1.  It doesn't really matter.  But most probably majority of those in the top 10 won more than half their finals appearances.

Ok answer mo sa akin muna ito. You said "all time greats" ..ok so is "all time greats" = "top 50 players of all time in nba"?

Paano it doesnt matter lebron is listed? He is an all time great. West and baylor are all time greats. I sampled the ranking to show you lebron was ranked 2, even sa other sites he was ranked high. So you cant say "all time greats usually win more than half their nba finals appearances"..They are listed in top 50 best players of all time. That is the same as all time greats. Check the updated si.com greatest players. Shaq is 15 and west is 9. They are all all time greats.

Maybe you should say ,"to be considered a goat, one should win at least half of their finals appearances" yun pa ma understand ko and agree with you.

Top ten specifically.  Not top 50.  numerous players in that top 50 I am not sure if they have been in the finals.

That is why the players I mentioned beforehand are listed in most top ten players.

Can you now provide a link showing 6 players from the top ten winning less than half of their finals appearances?

The fact that lebron is listed number 2 and number 5 on two sites already show you that the "championship criteria you consider" is not specifically required.

Where did I say to go up the rankings you need to achieve a criteria.

But what I did say is all time greats usually win more than half their finals appearances.  And based on your own provided list.  80% certainly fits the bill.

But if you can provide a link that show 6 players in the top 10 have losing records in the finals, then I am certainly wrong.

The top 6 are
1. Jordan
2. Kareem
3. Wilt
4. Magic
5. Lebron
6. Oscar robertson

Yun kay wilt, si mccullum, the author said

I understand the reason he should be ranked behind his nemesis/good bud Russell—11 championships for Russell versus two for Wilt. But let us consider the kind of talent it takes to average 50.4 points and 25.7 rebounds, as Wilt did in 1961–62, then midway through his career decide he wants to become a passer and turn into an all-star distributor from the pivot. Wilt was a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon, and I’m glad I got to see him.

Maiba lang. When Jordan won his 6 championships, the 6 teams the Bulls defeated in the finals were not easy peasy. Charles Barkley, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, John and Stockton were in their prime. Their supporting casts were no joke too. Lakers lang ata mahinang nakalaban nila dahil retired na si Kareem.

Yeah, their teams were not super teams because Chicago Bulls was the super team. Why? Because of Jordan. :)

I did say specifically top 10.  But still the top 5, 3 out of those 5 still have winning records in the finals.

ask players what they want?   championships ng TEAM

why is lbj 'desperately seeking" kyrie, AD etc?

para maging 4-6 man lang.

staktontumalon.. all time greats but no ring
bakit nauso superteams greats past their prime banded together one last...

its THE RING...golllum smeagol!

Okay lang walang stats, basta may finals mvp. Sayo na ang first 3 quarters. Basta when the game is on the line, akin bola.

that's all crap in my opinion ... they're ranked that high because they're popular and their teams are popular ... when it comes to winning Lebron cannot match Tim Duncan, but nowhere are they mentioning Tim Duncan because he's not a flashy player and San Antonio is a small market ... TD won 5 rings and several MVP's and his two main supporting cast were a number 28 first round draft pick (Tony Parker) and a 57th 2nd round draft pick (Manu Ginobili) - besides his first ring were he played with a fellow superstar (Robinson), the Spurs never attracted another superstar to join him in winning 5 championships ... and they are talking someone to be the GOAT who won only three championships playing along with handpicked superstars

And Duncan only lost once.  Could have been an immaculate 6 for 6 as well if not for the famous Ray Allen three.

As for the intangible side.... all other players'championship run were with their same respective teams.  No changing of teams.

7-7 ba talaga? Not 7-8? I know he has 7 rings.

Kaya nag taka ako bakit hindi si horry listed sa all time greats hehe..he should be number one base on percentage lol

Percentage-wise si Horry ang goat kasi 7/7 rings
Kung padamihan ng rings ang laban eh si Bill Russel dapat with 11 rings out of 13 seasons he played.

If you live during the bird-magic-bad boys-mj era and you witness kobe-shaq-spurs era now lbj-warriors era you know why MJ is the GOAT. Parang amusement park ride. Dimo malalaman ang feeling kung dimo nasakyan. Mahirap din explain ang pakiramdam.
