do i need an upscaler?

i have a 4K UHD TV and an internet connection up to 18Mbps. whenever I visit appliance centers, I always see videos of same Netflix movies shown but the resolution is far better than what I am having at home.

how do I get the same pic quality? do I need faster internet? do I need to buy an upscaler?

i watch netflix via wifi streaming, btw....

how do i maximize the TV's potential in terms of picture quality?

depending on your plan. if you got your netflix account for PH, I think they offer UHD in the 550php plan,but not very sure if the UHD is 4K resolution.

basically netflix recommends 25Mbps and a UHD plan for you to enjoy 4k. That should be it assuming your tv already have netflix and support 4k/hdr. There is no secret to it and no need for other gadgets,

I have the 4K UHD plan.  and those are the thigns that I would see in malls shown but in far better resolution than what I used to see in my home TV. :(

UHD/4k subscription - check
UHD/4K TV - check
internet speed - only up to 18Mbps (I would normally see 15.3Mbps actual)

is it because I do not have enough bit rate?

that could be the cause, if you are a single user then it might suffice but multiple users with 4k streams would possibly have problems

What kind of a 4k/UHD tv that has no upscaler? That's a letdown.
