LG will bring AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to its 2019 TVs. Enabling AirPlay support will allow Mac and iPhone users to easily play music, videos, or mirror your device’s screen.
As Apple puts it, “with AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, you can use Siri on your iPhone to send a video to your TV. Better yet, ask Siri to play a specific show in a specific room.” LG’s TVs will also support Apple HomeKit, just like Vizio and Samsung have confirmed for their respective TVs.
