hi mga sir, i have an RX6 ( 6 Ohms, 90 dB) and driving it with an Onkyo A9030 integ. amp. rated at 65 W/channel (1kHz , 4 ohms , 2 channel driven IEC). from the Onkyo manual , it says i can only use it to bi-wire speakers with an impedance of 8 - 16 Ohms. from the specs it is not applicable but still, i am curious to ask/know if pwede ko pa rin sya i-bi-wire?

good am. pwede bi-wire, use a speaker wire with 2 is to 4 terminals. you can connect it on speaker A amp side and then the other side on the 4 speaker terminals, you have to remove the plate connector of course.

pwede kung kaya ng amp, look at the caution note at the back panel near the speaker terminals.

did not have the chance to audition yesterday but was able to ask the representative of the Distributor, "difference between rx2 and the new silver 2?". he said better mid-range, warmer.

its not enough to just say better mid-range.

the best way would still be "actual audition" of the speakers. audio shops should always be ready for walk in buyers most especially pag malayo pa pinanggalingan ni sir.

anyway, what is spectacular for that audio shop is their amazing 30% discount pag cash purchase unlike others.

i personally went to audioworld in banawe before but i was told that i cannot audition the audio gears.

sabi lang ng in charge, hindi puwede audition kc hindi nakasetup. kaya umalis na lang ako.ganda pa naman tignan ng showroom nila,di naman pala puwede itest so useless.

kaya better call first and request na iset up muna nila,para pagdating nyo, nakaready na.

I sometimes experience this when I go to audition speakers and it always turns me off. You'll never know when a customer is in a real Buying mode and this kind of a response from a salesperson will most likely blow a potential sale.

Any comments from those who already auditioned the new Bronze's? I'm thinking of replacing my B&W 685's with Bronze 5's

had the chance to audition the Bronze 5 at AudioWorld. with Yamaha AVReceiver (idk the model) and Theta CD player yata yun.

im impressed. Highs so fine, lush mids and clean bass. powerful as well. cant help comparing its mids and HIs to my BX2... ang layo. smoother ang Bronze series ngayon i believe.
