I saw them ... held them ... at pier. I looked closely. Good drivers especially mid and high. But I did not buy them. Sometimes, as one puts it who owned one, "you may not know what you are asking for, a transparent speaker - so dull - and no bass" - he he he - truly a studio monitor in fact. So I do not want to own it myself. But am I fortunate seeing and touching them. I could have bought it for my hobby museum though (good to look at the drivers) - but had second thought so I refused to part with my money.

ang alam kong gumagamit ng Alnico magnet yung mga vintage ng JBL, Altec and EV, tama ba? heres a pic of sb-6:

couldnt find a much clearer picture as the i am having trouble accessing the vintage technics site where the pics are much clearer and crispier.

the bottom part (10" woofer) i assume looks like that of sb-3.

tama ka yung woofer is the same dun sa SB-3 mo.

Nandun pa din yung floorstander na sira yung isang tweeter. pareho ng tweeter
dun sa SB-6, baka pwede ilipat na lang nila. mas ok yata yun ?

we auditioned a yamaha speaker there and it rocks even without a sub. but do try other brands, it really depends on your preference. happy hunting bro!

you have a lot of choices there sir...... all you need is your ears, and time to audition it fully. bring additional ears sir, mas masaya, my masisi ka pa kung pumalpak yong napili mo, hehehe.

always remember speakers have a no return policy, so do the testing extensively, kalikotin mo pati yong amp na kinabitan sir, basically you should have tested the balance...... flat setting....... bass and treble adjustments, volume, etc......

good luck sir...... kwento mo agad ha whatever the result is....

reviews arent that great regarding this speaker bro, theres one that mentions about it having an unnatural bass, frankly, i havent seen this model at the pier, but who knows, there are a lot of diatones thereof....
