Haven't made up my mind which player I want but it will definitely be a Universal one...Although the Marantz sa 8400 looks lovely as well as the shanling!!!!!  Probably stock up on SACDs and DVD-A discs for now and get a player when I go home to the Philippines.....

Have 1- SACD (hybrid), 3- DVD-A, 3- DTS CD, lots of Concert DVD's and I play it on Pioneer DV-655A

Got 5 SACDs, 3 DVD-A, and about 100 concert dvd's.  Using Samsung HD748, Panasonic F87 and Pioneer HTZ-1000.

Just explored recently the audio capability of my Denon 1907. I use it for movie viewing most of the time. But when I learned about 24bit audio cds and SACDs, I was amazed by their sound clarity/quality.

But no plan yet in buying separate tube/integrated amp for audio.  I'm satisfied with the power and quality of my Denon so far. Tapos just this weekend I tried "Direct" (setting) as recommended to me by experts and wow ! Mas lalo pang gumanda, I can't believe my speakers sing!

9 concert dvd's, 5 SACD and 3 DVD-A using my Pio 600. So far I'm satisfied with the player I'm using but I'm looking for a dedicated audio player. What can you recommend mga sir? Sensya na kung may konting pagka-OT. TIA
