I would not recommend using chemicals as it might damage the rubber edge.

Good morning speaker doc. I have a good sounding yamaha NS555 floor standing speakers. Last two years ago, one of the tweeters blown off. I have it repaired/rewound at AVX sa HP pero hindi na naibalik yung dati nyang tunog. Two months ago, na dead naman yung isa pang tweeter. I wonder why, hindi ko naman ginamit ng three weeks, after that dead na siya. Up to now, hindi ko pa napapagawa. Kaya ba natin eto irestore sa dati niyang sound quality?

Thank you so much Benedict, Mang Paul for giving my speakers their second lives. My KEF is singing like before. Thanks also for reviving my PSB, after it was almost ruined in Raon. I'm very very happy and satisfied with the repairs!  :-) :-D

I want to thank also sir Benedict and Mang Paul for restoring to its original form my Yamaha NS 555 tweeters and my JBL Control 5 tweeter. Both these speakers are back giving me crisp highs.

sir pwede pa check ng speaker sa inyo? its almost brand new speaker yung gamit ko nawala na lang sound ng right channel ko kahit na lipat ko yung connections ng left to right wala rin sound na nalabas but yung right channel connections pwede sa left....i did test yung resistance wala zero lang sir, usually ano pwede cause na damage ng speaker.....thanks

good morning sir...ako yung nagpagawa ng speaker audio nirvana brand last night sinubukan ko and ok naman siya...this morning ayaw na naman niya gumana...i did test sa ohmeter reading ng speaker ng gumagana was 007.7 and yung isang ayaw gumawa was 1.791 pinagpalit ko yung right to left na gumagana ok siya but if yung left to right ayaw bossing, ano kaya yung problem speaker kaya uli....thanks

Good Morning.  Tingin ko sa amp mo na ang may problema at hindi sa speaker.  Bottom line, pag nilipat mo yung speaker sa kahit saang channel at tumunog ibig sabihin ok ang speaker, ang channel ng amp ang may problema.

Good Morning.  Tingin ko sa amp mo na ang may problema at hindi sa speaker.  Bottom line, pag nilipat mo yung speaker sa kahit saang channel at tumunog ibig sabihin ok ang speaker, ang channel ng amp ang may problema.

Thanks po. sir benidict yung SMSL na rin yung ginamit ko na mini amp ayaw pa rin niya gumana...try ko check yung isang speaker ko bukas......i mean yung left channel na connection wire pag inilipat ko sa right ayaw gumana ng speaker but if yung right channel connection wire ang ginamit ko sa left gumagana naman yung left speaker sir....check ko na lang uli bukas sir...thanks

good morning sir benedict...gamit ko today yung back up speaker ko gumagana naman sir left and right channel....pa check ko na lang uli baka may naputol lang uli......salamat...sa monday ko na lang uli dalhin....

Dalhin ko hopefully this wekend yung Pioneer speakers ko para ma diagnose mo. I'm still using it pero butas butas na ang woofers. Tinapalan ko lang ng duct tape, okay pa rin pero may sayad na sa mga medyo bass heavy na passages. Sana maremedyuhan pa. For sentimental reasons, I can't seem to part with them kaya pa repair ko muna instead of buying a new pair.
