Bro, if ever I get the flexigrey materials from the same source, what PQ would that give me using Epson 3010?  Or am I better off getting the flexiwhite material?

Thanks.

you will get better blacks with the flexigray in rooms without light control. in my case, my room has total light control hence i choose the flexiwhite.

Hi bro. I went and got the flexiwhite. Better PQ than my diy painted screen.

Sir(s), can you provide details on how you had the screen materials shipped (courier, packaging, landed cost)?  Am considering changing my DIY screen material.  Will the creases be negligible if the cheaper option (box) was considered?  Thanks.

yung iba bro stretched yung material pag layout ng screen kaya ok lang may crease :)

- purchase the screen material from Carl's Place in Amazon
- ship it by air (if you want it quick) thru JAC or FRS
- wait for a little bit over a week
- package size is 12x14x4 inches, paid 1.4k to manila
- do not worry about the fold marks or creases, it will go away once proper tension is applied
- see my build photos (post #385) in the previous page

Got the Flexigray 16:9, 71x126 material hand carried by a friend.  Thanks for the inputs, Weng.

The creases are ugly, but I am hoping this weekend's DIY screen framing session works out well.

I still have until this weekend to finally decide on what screen dimensions to build, or even relocate the beamer closer to the screen.  Q:  Would a theoretical brightness of 15 fL (projectorcentral) be good enough for my room assuming light is controlled (curtains, night vieiwing)?   Am initially planning to build a 138" screen with the H6510BD 13' away.

My other option to bring the projector closer to around 10ft., but since the ceiling is hardiflex/metal furring, I have very limited mount points that are rigid.  Hope to hear suggestions and inputs.

from your previous post sir 1 plywood lang gamit mo diba? I think you can only go up to 92 max. anyway if you want a 110" you need 54" height 96" width with a throw distance of about 3.2 meters

you can get 120" max  59"x105" at 3.5m distance. ambient light will play a factor. for me 100" is max na since image degrades when i go bigger using an epson 2030. i suggest you mount your pj first then work with the screen once the pj is mounted. i think your pj has lens shift so mas better placement options compared to mine. pero mas ok pag wala kang gagalawin lalo na sa keystone.

meron ba nun? If it doesn't reflect pwede yan. I tried a laminate yung parang pang whiteboard... bad idea... hahaha. hardiflex if you decide to use plywood mas smooth siya at mas madali pinturahan.

my DIY screen :)
