Sayang di natuloy yung 2nd Stereo setup ko. I was eyeing the Zensor 3 for bedroom sana. Maybe in the future.

After a month of listening to my Zensor 3 paired with Marantz PM6005, I noted something which I didnt quite sense when I auditioned : The combination needs a mid-bass punch.

Do you guys have the same observation. Is this what leads others to say that the Marantz+Zensor combination is great for vocals, instrumentals, classical? (I agree with this observation, BTW)

Whats the amp that will give a need midbass punch needed to rock and hard music?

Ganyan din observation ko. Pag marantz ang gamit pag alternative o rock music bitin na bitin siya sa midbass kumbaga kulang sa punch. Pero pag higher amp like im using right now onkyo 9030, napupunan niya ang kulang

Pero pag vocals,classical, instrumental music sa marantz amp ako.

Add a sealed sub. A sub will contribute more in my opinion

Thanks G-Racer, except that the marantz pm6005 does not have a sub out.

Also, if i do use one, mataas na ang magiging low pass cut off? I dont have any issue with LF of the zensor3, just the midbass freq.

try your Zensor 3 on a NAD amp. I never felt the need to crank the bass knob on my NAD C326BEE.

Even my 10wpc Audio Note OTO SE Sig can make the Zensor 3 sing w/ gusto at moderate volume

Thanks. But as stated, i have no issues with bass, just the midbass. I find the bass adequate, but the midbass a bit recessed,if thats the right term. I need midbass punch at around 125hz I thinks
