Tower Records and Music One Greenbelt will be holding their 2005 Summer Mega Sale starting this Friday, May 27, to Sunday, May 29. Discounts on CDs, VCDs, and DVDs.

Only Makati ~~and Alabang~~ branches. DVD sale items are similar to what was available at "O" Rockwell and Odyssey Megamall earlier this month.

UPDATE: Revised my post. Alabang outlets not included.

Great news... this is probably the first time tower alabang will be holding its first ever legitimate sale. with regards to the CDs. is it like a 10% discount on everything? or selected items only on sale?

correction po. only tower records makati and music one greenbelt will have a sale on most vcds, selected dvds and cds from May 27 to 29, 2005 (10-12am). video titles on sale will be similar to the previous sale in rockwell, podium and mega.

Lahat na lang ng sale nasa Makati, Rockwell at Ortigas!

Ang mahal na ng gasolina at pamasahe ngayon ah

Dapat siguro lahat ng mga taga-Alabang, Las Pinas, Cavite, Laguna, etc na member ng PinoyDVD e mag-rally sa labas ng Tower Records Alabang at mag-demand na kasama sa sale kung hindi .... pupunta kami ng Makati ahuuuuu

huh?! tower records atc not included?!....tsk tsk...sayang, planned everything na pa naman.....deins pala tuloy....i agree w/ apatmata, lugi us southeners!...gas expenses make up for the discount you'll get from the sale dvds up north....tower records/astro should realize the big market they're losing from ppl down south.....so when will we rally?! hehe

too bad tower alabang will not be part of the sale. siguro kasi maliit ung puwesto nila. hindi maaacommodate ung mga hoardes of DVD buyers from the south.

but still, will be in makati this friday so might as well take a look at the things on sale. sana carnivale is on sale for 1100.

Matrix P350 (my first copy is very badly scratched already)
Star Wars Episode I P333
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory P350
Ice Age Extreme Cool Edition P333

Since they put the Star Wars Trilogy on display while I was browsing, had to let go of some of my original choices: Minority Report, I Robot, Royal Tenenbaums, Daredevil Director's Cut. By the way, The Ultimate Matrix Collection is also on sale for P2000
Now... how to explain today's purchases to the wife

I think its only a DVD, VCD sale. Didn't see any marked down CDs

Kainis naman, got my SW trilogy for P2880 here in SM Sucat.

Pero isipin ko na lang sulit na rin kung mag-taxi ako back and forth at na-traffic pa.

But i'll be there to get the Matrix box set. Hope it's still there tomorrow.

No Star Wars Episode 2, No Hellboy, No Spiderman 2. Not sure about Godfather trilogy.
Marami akong boxed set ng Friends nakita pero didn't see what seasons were available.

came from Greenbelt and got myself 3 titles from music1... just 3 kasi nagcocontrol ako ng addictive urges

just heads up guys, music 1 is selling The Ultimate Matrix box set at 2k pero pagpunta ko sa "O" sa Greenbelt Mall mismo, it was priced at P1700.
