Got to listen to the 685 s2. New out of the box, it sounds better than the previous model which was in the same condition --- not broken in. It sounds much much clearer and has a better extension on the top end. The only thing I didn't like is it doesn't sound light on it's feet. A bit sluggish. I'll try to listen again once it gains a few more hours of playing time.

Master G, what exactly do you mean by sluggish? because if I were to interpret it, sluggish sounds like this is not a speaker for rock music.(fast transitions)

Master, i find the lower midbass slow. Like if a stick hits a drum and the sound resonates for less than half a second, the s2 takes more time than that. The s2 though sounds great for male vocals.

Actually its good for music also, heard this ng naka power amps, details are present, B&W are known for power hungry speakers

Mga sir any idea regarding dm605 s2. Yung controls nya sa amp. 2 kasi yung knob isa ay for bass gain. Yung isa may label na EQ tpos ang adjustments ay ABCDE... Any thoughts on how it works? Wala kasi ako makita manual sa net. TIA

Hi PDVD, this set is being offered to me for Php50k. 604 s3, 601 s3 and LCR 600 s3

Originally it is being sold for 66k. Try daw kung kaya ng 50k.  Excited ako kaso nakita ko kasi sa mga US sites, US$800 na lang ang 2nd hand 604 s3.

 Mura na ba saya? or mahal pa rin considering almost 15 years na rin an model na to?  Thanks!
