Sige yun isa AKM "miracle DAC" namin ni brader deist. Pero gusto ko muna subukan 3-DAC chain hehehe, naka 2-DAC pa lang ako ngayon. Para lahat nasa digital domain.

Brader Jo, curious ako sa 3 DAC chain mo,how is your system configured, can you post a diagram here?

Gino, may bago pa naman version yung DAC boards namin available sa ebay utilizing new AKM chip, the AK4495EQ

Seriously, my current system now is like...

Laptop > USB Power Plant > Patotoy (split type) USB Cable > Muse DAC (as USB to SPDIF converter only) > DEQ2496 RTA (via AES/EBU input) > AKM 4393 DAC (AES/EBU output) > AKM 4399EQ (via our XMOS SPDIF) > Aikido Tube Buffer (output stage of our DAC but on a separate chassis) > Aikido Tube Preamp > Honey Badger Power Amp.

In the future pag pwede na ulit mag piggy back (at pag may extra na

Yung split type USB cable connects to 2 different gears:

1. MUSE to convert USB to SPDIF - to - DEQ2496 RTA which has the AKM4393 internal
2. AKM 4399 DAC

Tama ba? OR naka-daisy chain yung 2 DAC?

Naka daisy chain lahat yun 3 DACs brader (MUSE/AKM4393?AKM4399)...

Yun USB cable ginawa ko dedicated line for signal and the other for power only.

I have read in some audio forums about daisy chaining DACs but want to ask you; malaki ba talaga improvement sonically?

Now I know why you you want the xmos usb-spdif, weakest link ba sa system mo yung Muse?

Re "patotoy" usb cable, wala bang kapatid yan na papuntang St.Rose? Hehehe

Not necessarily brader, but I believe the xmos has a lot more to offer me. Hindi naman mandatory, actually masayang-masaya na ako sa setup ngayon. If the opportunity presents itself lang naman.

Hahaha tama ka brader, should we take the opportunity while it's presenting itself? Hahaha!

If I'm not mistaken naka pcm2704 naman yun muse and it only handles the usb to spdif portion of my setup. To be honest I'm not sure if it makes a bottle neck or not, o baka waste of resources na lang kung mag xmos pa ako. But then again, excuses are hard to come by hahaha. Thinking out loud lang brader.

yan sana ang maganda para matest ko muna... kaso north and south tayo hahaha! di bale meron pa naman mahiraman para lang makapag gauge ako kung meron pa magiging improvement sa converter ko.

Will keep you posted...brader, you want acacia wood for your faceplate build? May nakuha ako sa village maintenance guy about a little more than half inch thick at the very least, dimension is 16" X 24" kaso kailangan mo lang pantayin ang thickness.

May dedicated lappy na ako for digital audio source brader, pero I was looking at the Raspberry PI sana but no time to explore eh. Mukhang tagumpay na yan project mo so at least may tested platform na tayo, kokopyahin na lang hehehe.

Uy thanks! Paki tabi mo lang yan brader, walang problema may thicknesser naman sir brader Joey and Timber, or I can always reface using my cnc, I have a "makinista" friend sending me a bunch of bits for wood and plastic cutting works.
