Gino, this is my diy indoor drone build. The "Whoopee" frame is 3D printed.

It's smaller than my Taranis.

Flying time is about 5-6 minutes.

The fpv (first person view) camera is so small, integrated with 40-channel including raceband video transmitter and a built in 5.8GHz cloverleaf antenna. All that in the size of a 1 peso coin and weighs lighter too.

32-bit F3 Evo flight controller running Cleanflight v1.13.0 firmware. Loads of fun to fly, and no worries about crashing, I have dozens of extra props hahaha!

Makalikot ka din naman, you may want to consider an rc crawler sa roof deck. ;D

I converted this stock crawler...

To an fpv crawler complete with camera and audio video transmitter...

May LED headlight pa siya ;D ;D ;D

Robotic arm na lang kulang >:D

I got the Taranis x9D Plus for about 12K+ kay LD. Comes with free aluminum travel case and an X8R receiver (magagamit mo yan sa mga 500-class sized builds). The RC-732 FPV monitor is about ~7K.

The Whoopee parts also came from LD, spent about ~6K without lipo batteries.

The 1S lipo batts needed for the Whoopee sells for about 400 each, I just bought a 3S for 550 and dismantled the whole thing and ended up with 3 pieces of 1S lipo batts.

This is a 3S lipo batt...

I chopped it all up and separated the three 3.7V lipo cells...

I used JST connectors for the whoopee so I installed JST connectors on each of the three cells... (I used Kapton tape to insulate the terminals).

Instant 3 pieces of 1S lipo batts for the Whoopee. Depending on your enthusiasm, sawa ka na diyan sa tatlo baterya. ;D

Yes sir Noel, all my quads are controlled by my Taranis. Iba iba lang ang receivers na gamit ko depende sa importance ng telemetry and/or weight. I use X8R, D4R-II, XSR and yun isang 3rd party na nakakabit sa Whoopee ko is a Furious Mini RX. Hindi siya gawa ng FrSky pero it uses the same transmission codes as the official receivers. Yun ang kinabit ko kasi 2 grams lang weight and I need to watch the total AUW (all-up-weight) kasi for longest flight time.

Gimbal control is easy po sir, you only need 2 free channels for up/down, left/right. Usually rotary trims ang gamit diyan and the Taranis has 4 of them and you only need one.

Yun crawler ko pwede din sa Taranis if I change the receiver pero ok na ako dun sa may thumb wheel iba kasi feel ng control pag surface vs aerial.

Ayus sir Jo. Very informative about taranis. I'm learning to fly using syma. Mag upgrade ako to a hobby grade and hope my build my own soon.

Heto target ko. WLtoys v977 collective pitch micro electric heli.  Sabi friend ko, very stable micro flyer. Good to learn cp flight with. Galing daw crash resistance. Full 3D flight if you are capable. Best thing? P5000 all-in at Lowdog shop Ortigas.

I highly recommend the Taranis x9D Plus sir Noel. It's main OS is OpenTX, an open-source project (power to the people). You can program her (yes, her kasi female voice ;D) and even choose to load different voices (sexy, authoritative, slang, robotic, etc female voices - siyempre I chose sexy!).

Once you program her functions (depending on your quad/model), "she" literally talks to you, informs you, warns you, and even taunts you when you crash! LOL. But you can leave that out if you wish. ;D ;D ;D

You won't even have to look at your transmitter when you fly, you just need to listen to her alerts. Here's a demo on my Storm Racing Drone model.

Adding an arduino nano, you can even configure navigational LED lights.

Oo nga pala may sim din ako niyan. Mas attractive kasi sa akin multi rotor drone because of the build factor.
