I went to a different Astro, Videocity, and Odyssey this morning and only saw the regular edition of Ice Age. What's the difference between the Extreme Edition and the regular edition? The one I saw didn't have "extreme edition" written anywhere on the box but it does have 2 DVDs inside.

The original R3 release of Ice Age I bought was a single-disc (dual-layer) version, so I'm not sure about what you saw, upinsmoke.

O Rockwell still has several copies of the Extreme Edition. The following sites give the differences between the two releases (some special features are unique to each edition) :

Music One Greenbelt have plenty of copies of Ice Age Extreme Edition for P299 each. Saw 1 copy of Master & Commander 2-disc.

Are the deleted scenes from the 2-disc widescreen edition simply incorporated into the film to complete the director's cut? Or does it bear new footage? Thanks.

It integrates an entire sub-plot back into the storyline which adds about 30 minutes to the film.

What's the difference between the CONAN The Barbarian DVD on sale (Blue cover) and the CONAN 2-disc special ed ? (Ochre/yellow cover) I looked at the features and they look the same.

Saw 2 copies of Ep 1 yesterday sa Astro podium. I guess na pakyaw na rin siguro. Yun Ep 2, I don't think kasama sa sale.

Great sale for Viva. However, I have most of the titles na. Among the "sulit" 2-disc sets I saw around were:

I, Robot
Minority Report
Moulin Rouge
X-Men 1 and 2
Ice Age Extreme Edition

The rest of the titles are not that good. Among the big Fox releases which are notably missing (or probably out of stock) are Day After Tomorrow, AVP, ID4, and Star Wars Episode 1 and 2. Hopefully, they extend the sale until November when Episode III comes out priced at P299! (wishful thinking).

Kudos also to Warner coz it seems they have really brought down the prices of their new releases to P499 (e.g. Constantine, A Very Long Engagement), both are 2-discs.

As for Magnavision, I don't know what happened to them. They started releasing those awful P299 versions. Even their latest releases such as Hitch are priced P475 but packaged in DVD5 just like their P299 counterparts. Seems like a major marketing blunder.

I saw X-Men 1 sa 299 sale nga. But is this a 2-disc edition? Ang alam ko kasi X-Men 1.5 ang double disc. And yung X-Men 1.5 hindi yata kasama sa sale.

The earlier single disc x-men and the double disc x-men 1.5 are priced similarly at their regular 750. Have been waiting for these to go on sale. I think I already got the double disc x-men2 for 350 last May. They should have both on sale by this time.

Hello... question lang regarding Moulin Rouge. 2 discs ba talaga sya kahit na walang nakalagay sa label nya na "2 discs"? Or dapat meron? Hindi ko binili kasi akala ko single disc lang... or baka single disc nga lang...

There are two versions of Moulin Rouge available locally, a single and a two-disc edition. It should be indicated at the back that it has two discs. I'm not sure about the single disc edition, but the two disc edition has a DTS track.

2 disc ang Moulin Rouge ko, but I bought this last December during the P333 sale at Podium. It's in a red box and the back says "commentary" and "behind the curtain" and a little dts logo. The box is also heavier.

Actually, wala nakasulat sa box ko na "2-disc" pero 2 discs ang laman. Kung mabigat, baka 2-disc nga yan kasi walang paper inserts naman sa loob.... kaya bakit pa mabigat?

i got my copy yesterday of moulin rouge and its a 2 disc set. nde lang indicated sa packaging pati yung whitenoise dvd 2-disc set din but the packaging is not quite good.

Bakit nga naman iba iba yung mga titles included sa Fox sale for each store? Daredevil Director's Cut is on sale sa Astro Podium but not sa Astro Mega nga.

Ang gulo kasi parang wala naman yatang official list.
