good to know coz this RP1 purchase will be the last one for TT (wife's stern warning!)

 ;D ;D ;D

if in case you hear na medyo pitchy or you think medyo may delay, its normal po. since you have a lyt platter turntable, it may cause some speed drift. just enjoy the music po. sa mga OC lang yung hindi mapakali sa very minute detail na mga bagay....

i dont like the adele album po, it a so so recording.(opinyon ko lang po. :))
eva cassidy....thats a nice buy

ok lang I buy vinyl based on the songs I like not on pressing or recording quality (unless it's really bad).  I buy albums that I can listen from beginning to the end....

Yeah...very upgrade resistant I've had them for 10 years....the Concerto just had the drivers replaced on one of them (moisture build up from humidity in the philippines)...

Alam ko excited na nga ako haha....Rega through the prologue and the concerto will be nice

Newbie question....when using the turntable do you keep it running even when changing LPs? and only turn it off when you finished your listening session?

I'm asking coz the Rega Manual suggests only turning off the turntable after the listening session is over.

From the manual:

Leave the turntable running during a record playing
session. Switch on before the session and only
switch off after you have finished. This will increase
the life of the motor and drive belt.

When changing LPs the platter should not be rotating otherwise you will be stressing the motor or the belt will slip while the motor is running thereby reducing its life.  That's the basic idea.

Newbie question....when using the turntable do you keep it running even when changing LPs? and only turn it off when you finished your listening session?

I also have the Rp1, that is correct, Rega recommends to keep it turned on for duration of session (playing), & turning it off only at end. As stated this prolongs the life of the motor & drive belt.

I saw Rene Rivo do the same thing, flip lps while the tt is running.

I think, pag tagal you get to master things din talaga - but I think, better nga na wag ngang tularan. hehehehe

Is a 6 feet 6 inch cable too long to run between the TT and the phono preamp?.....I'm looking for something in the region of 3 feet at one of the brick and mortar stores near my place but all they have is the 6 feet one

The idea is not to induce too much resistance when the motor is running and the platter rotating......

ako chief, palit kht tumatakbo. if your using an achromat type sa platter, lagyan ng double adhesive para pag kuha mo ng plaka hindi sumama yung matting. sa rega, must yon kse manipis yung platter matt. but if your using a cock board kht hindi na siguro lagyan ng tape. just be sure you get the vinyl using two hands.

Wow that Lyn Stanley album is expensive!  But from listening to it on spotify I understand why it would sound awesome on vinyl....the vocals and instrumentation on the album is sweet  :)
