Astrovision SM Makati is holding a pre-Christmas Sale this weekend, September 16 to September 18. Current sales items will receive additional discounts. New titles will join the sale list. For Makati-based PinoyDVD members, Astro says this is is the perfect opportunity to do some early Holiday shopping.

nice! would definitely pass by tomorrow.....wonder if they would get additional dvd titles? mas marami pa kasi yun vcd titles nila eh.... am still looking for nemo

Where to find Nemo? P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney... He-he. Seriously, mahirap talaga hanapin Finding Nemo DVD. I grabbed the only copy I saw in Astro Glorietta 2 weeks ago. Occasionally, nagre-restock sila. But according to the other thread, marami daw sa Astro Podium. I know it's out of your way if you're in Makati, but then, Marlin wouldn't have found Nemo had he not searched the ocean.

As for the sale tom, I wonder what it meant when "DVDs on sale will have additional discounts". Does it mean Disney DVDs will go lower than P299?

Most probably. But don't expect the sale in the same magnitude as the viva sale were you get titles for 299. As with other usual sale, probably 10% off on regular priced items.

What I want to know is if those viva titles selling for 299 would be further reduced by 10%.

You guys were trying very hard of Finding Nemo. Have you rechecked Video City Megamall? Astroplus Podium? Those 2 has the most copies I saw. When I bought mine last week, I still saw more than 10 copies at Video City and more than 15 copies at Astro-Podium.

has anyone visited astro SM makati lately? have they added other titles to their inventory? i'll passby as early as 10am to check them out. hopefully they have added more titles for the sale. sana wag lang 10% discount, sana parang the podium sale na 3 for 999 or even better...

wow just came from astro makati pagbukas nandun nko. Lucky enough i got 8 titles all for P250 including the 2 disc tarzan. hehe 2 copies lang sabay pa kami ni lord.

also got the only copy of Snow white special 2 disc edition
alice in wonderland special edition
Lion king 2 special edition
haunted mansion region 1
daredevil
electra
sixth sense

kausap ko si sir astro dont know daw kung may dadating pang tarzan. sayang nga eh kasi hindi pa sinama yung bambi na 2 disc din.

magna titles are 3 for P999
warner carton cases are P375
viva disney titles are slashed down to P250
buenavista titles also for P250

even saw 2 copies left of incredibles region 1 for P250 only. unfortunately finding nemo is still not available buti nalang nakakuha ako last week sa music one.

according to sir astro baka my deliveries bukas but cannot say what are included so check it out nalang
thanks again Astro for the sale, btw to those not yet informed my grand sale ulit sa astro podium sa end of the month.

guys! check out SM Makati Astro outlet! bought 2 discs HP 1,2,3 at 425 and Spiderman 2 SE 2 disc at 475! And they've got good deals now... 3 dvds for 999.... good for 3 days...

good news and bad news. bad news for us early buyers of the 299 sale, kasi 250 na lang lahat pati incredibles r1 250 na rin....even flight of the phoenix na di kasama and 900 dati 250 na rin. medyo limited ang stocks lang ng other dvds.

good news is that they have a 3 for 999 sale. although the 2 disc 895 dvds are priced at 475 (terminator, bad boys 2, etc.). superbit is now only 450 pero 2 titles lang ang available, anaconda and one other title i forgot.

there are still some other dvds not included in the sale, like robots (750) pa rin. anyway i ended up buying nothing kasi wala yung mga gusto ko. but overall, i can say that the sale is better than i expected...

Maraming titles na bago but double check nyo sa counter... Also if there are titles that are not on the display shelves, ask the sales people because marami pa silang stock sa stockroom

I had to control myself because ang dami ko pang gustong bilihin sana like Spiderman 2, The Terminal, etc...

Naku patay na naman. Just paid for my credit card today when I purchased the
Fox titles. Then I bought the Disney titles. Then sale na naman. Hahahaha! But a nice problem to have. I don't wana pass this one baka magsisi.

Are the Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions included sa sale?

Time to buy Spiderman 2, Tarzan 2-Disc and Bad Boys 2. Yun Forrest Gump ba kasama rin sa 3 for 999?

i was the one who asked you about the tarzan 2-disc. lucky you!

sayang, 2 lang yung tarzan and nabili na pareho kanina. was there din around 1030am kaya lang just bought a couple of titles, LABYRINTH for my wife which was originally priced at 895 and FREAKY FRIDAY R1 for 250 i think... my wife paid for it kasi...

sayang kulang na sa budget, still wanted to buy a few more titles... talked to sir astro also about tarzan and bambi but he wasnt sure kung may dadating pa. he just mentioned that podium would also have abother sale, jst no dates yet. but overall it was a great sale!!!!

Yes sir. It's part of the sale and it's for P250. Other new titles I saw were The Pacifier and Flight of the Phoenix and also sold for P250 each.

ok lang yan sir. most probably you'll still get hold of a copy next sale. antay antay lang. ako rin la ng budget since i just bought lotr trilogy boxset R1...but syempre babalik parin ako this morning baka my bagong bagsak ng deliveries. card na lang para next month na problemahin.

passed by the sale yesterday, and it has some good titles for the 3 @ 999 promo. kuha sana ako pero may prob pa ako with my r1 freaky friday. last week sep5 they told me that I can have my replacement on sep7. and until now, nde pa dumarating and they're telling me na reserved na pala ung replacement ko

and since ayoko nman ng ibang titles, refund sana gusto ko pero nde rin daw pwede... kailangan kong palitan daw ng ibang dvd at same price

nde ba talaga sila pwedeng mag-refund

Went back there this morning to have my 6th Sense replaced but since they have no stocks already, I grabbed Saving Private Ryan 60th Anniversary Edition which is on sale for P475. Dati P650 ang sale price niya. They have fresh stocks of Spider-man 2 2-disc for P475.
