its hongkong based. normally ang experience ko is pag umabot ng 1 kg at ang binili mo is something like playstation, me tax na sya. lalo na pag pina-ship via fedex or ups. tax is usually around 1300-1500.

nag try na ako nung free shipping nila. usually via mail. pero ang na try ko palang is mga games. dito hindi pa ako na charge ng tax.

as for credibility, so far mga more than 10 transactions na ako dito. marami na ako nabiling console at games. at lahat ok pa. mabilis din ang response nila sa email mo.

na try ko na both western union and credit card payments.

wala pa namang sablay.

i'd just like to throw my good word in, play-asia.com worked great for me (5 orders or so), next day door to door delivery with stuff ranging from single to multiple xbox360 games (dvd case) to an xbox wireless wheel (had to pay taxes for this one).

Based on experience, I limited my purchases to below 100 (except for the wheel) and I did not get taxed. However, I'm not sure what their 'parameters' are when it comes to taxing (based on amount or bulk).

AFAIK, PO wont charge you for products below $50. Did they recently change it to $100?

I kept my purchases + shipping to within 100, and no charge. This is with FEDEX. Under the FEDEX and less tax thread, someone indicated that they bought stuff ten times, all over 100 usd, and got charged only once at 10%.

I never had to go through the PO (as I had to with EMS), so i'm not sure if this is indicative. Even when I got charged (at a bit over 10%), I only got a phone call and they collected my payment upon delivery.

Priority shipping under FEDEX wala. Just used it for my MGS IV purchase. When I used yesasia with DHL, I was taxed P500.

Even if your order goes above $100, you can email them to make the declared value lower!.

I have been using that "technique" on 80% of my orders online. 100% working on Play-Asia/FedEx.

Choose only FedEx.

hay... this just in, i ordered revenge of the fallen bluray from playasia early this month, was so excited kase it said na package was due to arrive yesterday, i even posted it in the latest purchase thread....

so i went home yesterday hoping that i can watch it already, then it wasnt there, called fedex and said its waiting clearance from customs...

ive been trying to call them since this morning but to no avail, then bam

my dad called me, saying fedex called our house saying that package is due for delivery at 1pm

and im being charged 1380 for tax!!!!

nakaka inis!!!! the bluray's only 2k, shipping is 500 then tax is 1400?
