Bill Simmons, the sports guy in ESPN page 2, has predicted that the LA Lakers will go all the way to the Western Conference finals....intriguing huh?

Except for KG and T-Mac whose teams didn't qualify for the post season, almost of the nba's top dogs are here:  There's Shaq and Wade, the Detroit Fab Five, Net's trio of Kidd, Vinsanity, and Richardson, King James is also here.  Out in the west, theres the Spurs and Tim Duncan (its Horry's time once again), Dirk Nowitski, Carmelo, Kobe, the surprising Clippers, And Steve Nash, this year's reported MVP.

Hold on folks, this will be one great ride...  ;D ;D  who do you think will go all the way?

I really like the chances of the Lakers in their first round series match-up with the Suns.  If you watched game 2, which LA won, Kobe have never been more in sync with the triangle offense, with the way he involved his teammates, choice of shots and his efficiency (29 pts in 24 shots).  If somehow LA pulls through, I would really like a clippers-lakers match-up in the second round.  Exciting!!

Lakers just won game 4 on Kobe's last second shot in OT.  Meanwhile, the Miami Heat are struggling against the BUlls, lost again in game 4 of their series. I believe that the Heat are having trouble guarding perimeter players, and Shaq, with his second consecutive sub-par game is really showing signs of declining skills.  I maybe wrong, what do you think?

This is really getting interesting.  Spurs lost again to the Kings and its all tied up now at 2 apiece.  Ive seen the Lakers-Suns game and all I can say is that its not for the weak of hearts.  LA escaped with that one.  And for the Suns, a really heartbreaking loss.  Wizards also tied it up with Lebron and the Cavs.

Lakers-Suns Game 4

Phoenix was up by 4 with 12 seconds remaining, and Boris Diaw of the Suns was shooting 2 FTs. And many people in the crowd stood up and left the game! I've watched a playoff game at Staples and those tickets are not cheap. And those people left before seeing a great finish by their team!

Spurs-Kings Game 4

Fascinating to watch Artest at work against Ginobili. Last year Manu was unstoppable. Today he could only get 3 points against Artest, and last game he only got 8.

Cavs-Wizards Game 4

Hmmmph. Refs called terrible fouls against LeBron that took him out of his game in the second half. Yeah, sour grapes, hehe.

dream finals matchup

But for now im smelling a LA vs LA 2nd round

Lakers-Suns
team effort...smush, lamar, luke, kwame are playing one notch higher plus that of the killer instinct of Kobe...whattagame....gonna tell my son about it...

Cavs-Wizards
poor lebron his team mates cannot match his intensity, Damon Jones was caught napping and completely missed a pass from LBJ,

Heat-Bulls
Wade is disappointing also, he just cannot bicker  with  the glove just like that...now the heat chemistry is in question and also stick a fork to shaq he about done, common man, tyson chandler? mike sweetney? they are only  half a player compare to the wallaces

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

NBA Investigates Kaman Incident
By Jason Reid, Times Staff Writer
May 1, 2006

The NBA is investigating an incident in Saturday's 100-86 victory in Game 4 that led to center Chris Kaman's being assessed a flagrant foul.

The foul was called with 8 minutes 45 seconds remaining in the second quarter when Kaman shoved Denver forward Reggie Evans.

Kaman said he told referees that Evans grabbed his testicles and "pulled hard," and repeated his account in an interview Sunday with an NBA security official.

TV replays appeared to indicate Evans put his hand under Kaman's shorts as they battled for position near the basket.

"I told [the NBA] in complete detail what happened," Kaman said. "The three refs also knew what happened."

Kaman, who played despite being slowed by a viral illness, said he considered punching Evans.

"With what we're trying to do, I didn't want to get thrown out," he said. "I thought about it, but I knew what would happen.

"One of the refs said he would have knocked [him] out. It was crazy."

The Clippers were surprised by Evans' actions, to say the least.

"When I saw it on TV, it was like, 'Wow,' " 13-year veteran Sam Cassell said. "I asked the referees about it at halftime, and Jess Kersey, who has been in the league for [29] years, said he's never seen anything like it.

"You know what, Reggie is a good guy. I think he just lost it for a minute."

talking about harrassing the "ball"  ;D

I have a new favorite player. Never mind LeBron and Kobe, we already know they're good. Give it up for ...
Smush Parker!

He made killer plays yesterday. Dude's a Rucker Park vet, plus he's got a cool SUV -- the Smushcalade -- with an HT and gaming rig built in. Watch the video by clicking on this URL:  http://www.dimemag.tv/default.asp?mode=ad
