yup, the best heights implementation is thru ceiling installation... best alternative is thru small bookshelf wall-mounted overhead and last is the atmos-enabled one.

but will your lessor agree if you just drill holes on the wall instead (for a small bookshelf wall-mount implementation)? or mount it on the ceiling via pinpoint AM20/AM30

try ko small BS speakers para sa ATMOS, yup very powerful nung nadiskubre ko yung Source adjustment nito sa volume and gumanda pa SQ nya.

Ask ko lang sa mga nakagamit ng audyssey, how does the Accueq sound field calibration of the post 2014 onkyos fare vs older Onkyos with Audyssey?

sa experience ko chief mas accurate na ang calibration ng Onkyos compare sa dati, galing ako ng SR508 and mas gusto ko yung bigay ng bagong Onkyo 656 ko sa calibration di ko na nga ginalaw setting lalo na sa distance.

may nabasa ako at par lang daw sa gamit ng sony receivers (IIRC), which is inferior daw sa audyssey

You mean AccuEQ. Wala nang Audyssey ang Onkyo ngayon.

From what I've read AccuEQ doesn't apply EQ to the fronts and calibrates the other speakers to sound like the fronts. This is great if one has good-sounding front speakers.

I think yes, heard the Onkyo and Q Acoustic once but not sure kung anong Onkyo gamit that time. But what I'm sure of is they blend nice at that time..

Patulong naman... may avr Onkyo NR626 Receiver, got it from sir kelly last 2014.
working fine until last Saturday. Today yung left channel walang sound..pinagpalit ko na speaker meron problem yung sa avr..san kaya sir pwede pagawa?
