New Onko user here..bought a 646 and all the speakers i have seemed to work well with it (PSB, Tannoy, Monitor Audio and Paradigm studio)...Find it warmer than the Yamaha RXV1079 recently owned...bang for the buck ko pa nakuha at nag sale...

May problema na ata tong beloved ONKYO SR508 ko, minsan pag on mo may glitters ang display..Pag direct NMT sa TV okay naman ang display. May na encounter na ba sa inyo nito?

Ask lang. Kararating lang ng rz800 ko. San ko ba i connect ang front height speakers? Sa sorround back? May nakalagay kasi bi amp sa front height

Sa Height speaker terminal mo ikabit sir. Just disregard the biamp label.

Try nyong payatin lahat or unplug sa power. Then unplug the HDMI cable then back. And retry.

Hello mga Sir need suggestion..

may tanong lang po ako ok lang ba e plug ko sa avr na 1500watts goldensource ang brand ung onkyo 646 sa 110v sa 110v na outlet sa AVR?dun pina plug ko lahat ung tv,sub,htpc

so far nagamit ko na wala naman problema..

paano din mag manual calibrate sir wala kasi kasamang mic calibration pag bili ko sa onkyo 646..

maraming salamat po..

You need a sound level meter for manual calibration... Just set the level to 75db for each speaker at the best listening position..

Hi mga sir ask ko lang. Pano ko i setup ang onkyo remote na ma control ko ang blu ray player? Nakabili kasi ako ng lg blu ray player na walang remote.hindi rin gumagana ang lg remote app sa iphone kasi hindi pa sya naka connect sa wifi

Thank you sir pero di ko mapalabas ang enter code. Pero nagamitan ko na ng iphone as remote nakakainis lang.. Mas gusto ko sana remote ng onkyo na magamit sa player. Try ko ulit bukas.

Another question pa po. Diba dapat pag nabasa ang true hd atmos track ng bluray mabibitstream nya sa receiver? Nagsalang kasi ako ng blu ray disc in atmos track.
True hd lang yong lumabas. Naka bitstream naman ang settings ng audio?

Bluray player ko kaya may problem? Tapos parang 4.1 channel lang ang nai passthrough nya kahit true hd.

Ask lang po sa receiver ko rz800 kung kaya nya ang 5.1.4 configuration if i add a 2 channel amplifier?

May mga pre outs pa sya at meron sa settings 7.1.2 configuration...
Wala lang ako makitang may naka ganung setup

question mga master. Yung Unit ko po Onkyo HT-RC460, last month nawala HDMI Output sa main then last week pati output ng sub nawala na din. Pano po kaya meremedyuhan? Need ko na po bang dalin sa service center? Thanks

Can someone also please confirm if rz800 supports hdr.. It is not mention in specs but ive from read couple sites that it support hdt already. I have no hdr and 4k tv yet..

Ouch! Last time I heard service centers charge around 10k for HDMI board replacement.

Update lang po. May signal na ang sub output. Yung main output ala pa din. Audio lang meron kaso nawawala after a few seconds.

hi, Onkyo masters.

my friend has an SR333 and we're trying to find out how to set-up ARC successfully with his Android TV. We seem not able to get through to it.

Android TV --> HDMI IN (ARC) --> Onkyo SR333 HDMI OUT

Android TV -- HDMI ARC ON, Audio Out to System
Onkyo SR333 -- HDMI ARC Auto, HDMI CEC ON

We will play a movie on the TV's built-in Video player to send the audio to the AVR. on the AVR, we selected TV/CD as its input. No signal is being received by the Onkyo. We are using hi-speed HDMI with Ethernet cable. I believe this is CEC compliant.

What I can't find is how to set on the Onkyo SR333 that its TV/CD input should be HDMI. I think it is defaulted with S/PDIF. Otherwise, which input should we choose on the Onkyo to receive the ARC signal?

Mga Onkyo brothers,

Patulong naman. Gamit ko kasi Onkyo NR-3008 9.2 Receiver, got it from a fellow member about 2014.
Working fine until last Saturday. Biglang nagloko, nawawala-wala ang audio. Then the other day totally "No Sound" na-- ALL sources(HDMI, coaxial, digital, analog). Video output is working fine pero maraming artifacts. Meron pa naman front panel display, pero palaging "Analog" ang naka-indicate.
Ano kayang problem nito?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
