after long reviews and demos, i decided to go with the denon 1802 receiver. now, my problem is: "WHERE CAN I GET THE LOWEST PRICE FOR A DENON 1802?" please help....

Try IMAGE Video in Harrison Plaza. I bought my Denon 1802 from them. They did a demo/promo of AVR 1602 during the 2nd Marathon and from what I was told, they are selling said model at around 19K and they are giving a 15% off. I don't know if they are still giving that discount. Why not check it out. Look for ALEX or the owner ANGEL and tell them you're from Pinoydvd.

And if you could go a little further with your budget, why not get the 1802. It's a lot better in my opinion (obvious ba?)

If your'e after the DPL2, and your'e budget is Php 20,000.00, try to audition the Kenwood 7050, it has DD,DTS,DPL2, has 2 coaxial, and 2 optical Inputs, and has 2 optical out.
It goes for only Php 19,000.00.

Hi Ryn0128,

You can try Image as Blitzkrieg suggested. Other stores where I've sighted a Denon are: AV Driver (Shangri-La); Bose (Megamall and other branches); and DCM Audio (where I bought my Denon AVR-1801).

I recently bought mine at sights and sound in shangri-la. If you're looking for quality sound at an affordable price, you can't go wrong with Denon.

Sorry, didnt notice your post for the 1602. FYI, It just got an overall 5 Stars rating for its best in price, audio for video and music in the latest What Hifi.

to those who are planning to buy a new receiver this coming months, hold your horses! a new breed of denon receivers are coming out this july-august. srp of 1803 is $499. watch out for these hot babies!!!

According to the local distributor of Denon, the 1803 model will likely be available toward the end of the year or early next year.

Lalabas kaya dito yung 1803 na yan, kasi 2802 wla akong makita dito, syempre kung lalabas and 1803 dun na ako kasi parang 2802 rin syan mas mura pa.

One distributor would probably be AVDI at Shangri-La Ortigas.

I think AVDI is a dealer and not a Distributor. Another dealer of Denon I know is Architectural Audio.

Hi all!

I'm not technically minded so the specs on these two model dont mean sh*t to me! =( I am having a hard time deciding which of these 2 revievers to buy. I know the AVR1803 is not released yet, so should I wait for the AVR1803 or just buy the AVR2802? How much different are the two models?

Please help!
