Guys my Denon is around 5yrs old and i bought it abroad for around 35k (dito nasa mga 55k yata). Question is, will they repair it here sa Pinas?

Problem: nawawala yung mid and rear speakers kahit naka set to 5channel stereo. I tried to tinker with the menu and inalis ko yung mid/rear then test tone then binalik ko then test tone and did this several times until i heard a "tick" sa denon tapos nagkaroon na ng sound yung mid and rears ko and everything is fine until i turn off the power. Every time i turn on the amp, i need to go to the menu para mapalabas ko yung mid and rear sound sa speakers ko. It sometimes takes 2mins and minsan more than 10mins.

Ano kaya problema nya? hinigpitan ko ulit lahat ng speaker wire so i guess its not there.

You can try to google with regards to this problem. You can get an idea about the problem and expected cost. Start with the main power supply if voltage within requirement. Look for bulging capacitors inside. Usually they are the first to go. Do you usually clean the inside of your amp?

that "tick" sound could be the relay kicking in & it won't kick in pag may na detect na abnormality sa output nya either sa driver or load.
try using a different speaker, if it's still the same baka yung circuit na, naka check narin ako ng cold solder before

The only service center I know for denon is beyond innovation located in calle industria near eastwood city in libis. They can surely troubleshoot that and let you know the culprit. But what I'm not sure of is the time table ng repair nila as I've heard minsan it takes a month bago marepair specially sa mga model na phased out na which will require them to import the parts.

I bought an old Denon AVR 1613 in the market and hindi ko mapalabas yung sound sa sub, Im only using the analog source input "DVD" connecting my phone for audio. I already set the Fronts  to Large and Sub to Yes but still no sound coming sa sub.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Issue resolved. Need to set pala the sub to LFE/Main. Hini kasi makita when you set up the speakers using the Receiver display. When connected to TV andon configuration ng settings.. (first time to use HDMI capable receiver)  ;D

WHOAH!  Denon has just upped it's 2019 AVR X3600H!  this will be the top-of-the-line Denon AVR for 2019.  it now has a 9-ch native amplification... and a 11-ch pre-out!

Nice! So wala na po sir 4xxx to 6xxx models nila? At least their product line-up is simpler.

Wow, makaka 7.2.4 capable na rin at this price point.
Years ago, you need to spend around double the cost (around $2000) to get to try 7.2.4

Now 7.2.4 has reached $1000 territory :D

Luckily, the Atmos/DTS-X exclusivity has already at least settled (over the years), and trickle-down technology is now being seen in the lower models. Can't wait to have my own 7.2.4 in the future (distant future hahaha)

I have been a Denon fan since the beginning, and I have a 14 year old Denon AVR still flawlessly working until now.
I just don't know about recent models. Hopefully they're also as robust as the older models

^ you're right, sir!  they trickle down hi-end features into mid-end ones.. nauna si Onkyo sa RZ730/830 then now Denon.  Atmos/DTS:X audio are into their 4th year since launch and has already been available across (almost) all new movies (and movie re-releases).  even on some drama genres we are seeing Atmos on them haha

while Barco's Auro-3D might die down as I see no new movies embedded with it, the IMAX Enhanced as launched in 2018 -- may still need a few years as well to gain popularity.  maybe that's why hi-end future-proofed AVR's need no new model releases as there's nothing to upgrade with, just yet
