Really looking forward to getting Incredibles at 1/3 the price. Just came from Astro Glorietta this lunch time and "Incredibles" plus other Disney titles were out in a flash (although magkaka-replenishment naman raw). Ran over to Tower 1 and I actually didn't see any Incredibles on the shelves at ubos na raw. The sales lady was kind enough to search the place and fortunate for me she was able to get me one last copy (backroom I think).

Hmmm, very fast movements indeed. Checked out M1 as well and they have marked down a number of DVDs in the orginal list (No Incredibles as well). Well happy hunting and good luck to the others.

was pleasantly surprised with the Die Hard/Die Harder promo pack I got yesterday... upon opening, both were the 2 disc Special Editions

If you guys live near the area, why not give the stores at SM San Lazaro a shot? When I left there this afternoon, Astro still has some Disney cartoons left. Videocity downstairs has a lot. Odyssey has some. These stores are looking pathetic. They need your business so they can restock more frequently.

Can any of you check and see if your Incredibles DVD came with an insert? Mine doesn't. Finding Nemo has one. Monsters Inc. doesn't.

I bought the 2 said titles a long time ago and no inserts came with them.

Odyssey SM Megamall had a number of copies of The Incredibles around 6:30 last night. It's only me who was checking out the Disney sale. The others were busy with audio CDs and VCDs.

I was very lucky to find a copy of The Three Musketeers R1 (Mikey/Donald/Goofy) at "O" Eastwood, it is in a white alpha case, inserts, single disc, and a DTS soundtrack. A great bargain for Php299

Iba-iba ang situation per store na kasali sa sale ng Viva. Meron ibang titles na kasama sa ibang stores, sa iba naman hindi kasama. Yung ibang R1 hindi nila sinasama sa sale kasi two disc special edition daw.

Oo, pareha lang sila. 'Yun nga lang, mas maganda ang packaging ng R1 Special Platinum Edition. At saka, hindi THX-certified yung R3. Naiinis nga ako eh. Dapat bumili na lang ako ng R1 noong nag-sale ang Astro earlier this year -- inisip ko kasi meron na akong R3.

I wouldn't worry about it. There is a licensing fee that comes with reproducing the THX logo and adding the optimizer to individual DVD releases on a per region/per country basis.

The fact is, the Region 3 version contains the same video track and the same "Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix" (in Digital 5.1) as the R1 version. What the THX certification means is that Disney's DVD master met the strict performance criteria for video and audio playback as supervised by THX engineers. Now if you decide to watch Aladdin in Mandarin or Cantonese, that's a different story. It's likely those 2 tracks were not submitted to THX for evaluation -- another possible reason for the missing certification.

So the R3 version may not have the seal of approval in black and white, but you're still getting the real deal.

got a copy of findeng nemo and james and the giant peach at landmark. Unfortunately the james and the giant peach is unsealed, but i really wanted it so kinuha ko na rin. Wala bang Toy Story 2 R3 release? I' m thinking of getting a copy of Toy Story 1 kaso I read from amazon that they are releasing a toy stry 10th anniv edition this month...
