3 yrs old na tong nextbase ko (on top of the pio) without any signs of slowing down, so far lahat ng sparrows ko gumagana sa kanya. forgot the model number iconfirm ko when i get the chance

i only encountered problems sa usb movies kasi minsan hindi nya tinatanggap yung higher resolutions, what i do is resize them through winavi and convert them to avi/mpeg.

overall malufet ang upscaling nitong nextbase, there are some movies that PQ is even slightly better than my old pio.

i got to watch "saving private ryan" orig DVD on my nextbase tweaked to 1080p (at 60Hz) upscale as recognized by my full hd LG 32, and noticed near the end part of the movie where tom hanks was left at the bridge, the fires are burning with some somewhat linear yellow steakings just like when your're playing DIABLO and your graphics card are quite low end.

will try to set it up at 1080p 50Hz and see what happens.

hindi ba sya pwede i select?
binalik ko kase ulit sa box ung nb895 ko together with my pany 32x10 sa 21" crt ko pa lang sya na try.
lilipat kase kame sa bulacan next week kaya invest na ko habang nasa manila pa kami.

baka mas maganda pa mag upscale yung samy ht-z210 ko ha compare sa nb895.

kabibili ko lang kahapon sa Robinsons and I was able to select 1080p both for the NB-895 and my Toshiba 32AV600E

NB 895 is now selling at around P3.6k (formerly at around P4.5k) sa SM Appliance with HDMI cable.
All my old nextbase dvd players (6yrs ago), still working flawlessly.

mga sirs tulong naman po, san ba ko makakahanap ng replacement remote control ng nextbase dvd player ko? nagpunta na ko sa service center nila.. wala na daw silang ganitong model kasi sobrang luma na daw , eh gumagana pa naman ng maayos itong dvd player wala nga lang remote, hinidi ko ma adjust audio set up saka di ko lis maalis o mapalitan sub titles..tulong po

Question mga peeps, if i try to play a 1080p video file from usb attached to nb895 will it also audio out 5.1 to my reciever via hdmi?

Just got a Nextbase nb895 from SM Appliance in Broadway Centrum. It's working really well and it has a complete set of connectors at the back: HDMI, S-Video, Video, Component, Optical Audio, 5.1 Channel, etc. It upscales to 1080p. Got it for P3,603.09 using a credit card. Less 3% if cash payment.

i was trying to connect my nextbase nb-895 to my receiver (wishful) thinking whether the HDMI has audio transfer. and i realized my suspicion that the HDMI terminal of this nextbase is only video. The funny thing was when i was browsing the manual, it states that the player has DTS decoder

(which we all knew has only DD decoders).

I have this Nextbase NB-895 HDMI player, bought it 3 weeks ago. Has been replaced three times already. This player can read all of my p-dvd9s but sometimes it hangs on some parts of the movie while playing it. Sometimes it plays my dvd9s without any problem. All those p-dvd9s that hangs on this player does not hangs and plays all the way to the end in my LG non HDMI player.

So what I did is, I brought all those dvd9s (around 8 dvd9 movies) to the store and showed to the sales person of Nextbase the issue. He tested all of it and realized that all my complains are valid. He also tested the dvd9s using the store's LG unit and found out that LG does not hang on those part that hanged on NextbaseNB-895. I also tested all my dvd9s in a Ganzklar HDMI player and found no problems at all. The salesperson of Nextbase tried several of their units and gave me the one which played the most of my dvds. He said that maybe the lens of this model is the culprit.

The first unit I got from Nextbase hangs up and sometimes blacks-out. Second replacement also hangs-up on certain parts of the movie. Now the third replacement played some of those 8 dvd9s but the rest still hangs-up. I would like to replace it with another brand (philips, ganzklar or sony) but unfortunately is no longer allowed daw!!!.

I have no choice but to accept the third replacement and maybe just buy another brand later on. If I only knew about this issue on this Nextbase model, I should have gotten the Philips HDMI player which is about 1K more expensive or the Ganzklar HDMI which is 1K less expensive.

In fairness to this model, video and audio quality is very good for its price.

Saan b nkkbli nitong xtreme dvd player with dts at magkano ba ang selling price nito?
Naghanap na ako sa Ansons at SM Appliance kaso wala naman akong nakitang ganitong model. Yung Ganzklar HDMI player kasi walang DTS, pero yung Philips 3588K meron.

Ganzklar - 2,500.00 cash (no HDMI cable)
Philips - 4,490.00 less 270 on cash (with HDMI cable)

i got a free nb 895 from abenson budled with devant elite series.

mga gurus what movie formats can it play using the usb mode? i tried mp4 and avi, so far it only read the avi.
