I just realized I don't know how Chandra Suresh was able to compile that list of Supers. Did he have some kind of an international database of genetic profiles?

I remember the human genome project mentioned in a previous episode. BTW, that Eden girl is really cute. She can be Rachel Bilson's lost twin sister.

I thought Episode 11 was the filler episode, apparently, it is Episode 10. I was already expecting this filler episode to be not as gripping as Episode 9 but it still gave the characters the opportunity to become more well rounded -- at least we now know how Sylar came to be.

Ah two months! In the meantime I'll just preoccupy myself with Day Break and I'll also start watching Jericho.

It also makes me a sad panda that the writers didn't even bother looking into Isaac's past in the last episode, which leads me to believe that he will die a horrible and painful death one of these days. Maybe Sylar will get to him, after all? (Just as Hiro had seen in the future?)

Even Ando's getting more screen time than Isaac. But the guy playing Ando still isn't listed as a main actor, and that leads to me believe that he, too, will die a horrible and painful death soon.

Off-topic:

Jericho is as silly and addictive as Prison Break but at least it goes somewhere every episode. Been sucked into it since I saw the haunting pilot. Been hesitant to try Day Break since most ABC shows most often disappoint me. Heroes' hiatus may make me change my mind.

A lot of these shows take a Christmas break. Anyway, I was hesitant to take on another mutant/special power TV series but Heroes' good reviews convinced me to give it a try.

Alright so I'm predicting Mr. Bennet will transform himself into a dinosaur and be the next big baddie.

I agree that out of the four episodes i watched, the concept is very much like Rising Stars which apparently is also being developed as a series.

where'd you get the news regarding Rising Stars? Can you post it here? I'm excited about that prospect.

It was the 11th episode.

Also, is this Mr. Isaac's "Exploding Man?"

In EW's article: http://www.ew.com/ew/report/0,6115,1555891_3_0_,00.html
Special Report: Is ''Heroes'' helping or hurting the comic book biz?
Excerpt:
In a way, Straczynski will get the chance to put his belief to the test: In something of a full-circle twist, he and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi are currently shopping a Rising Stars TV series to the networks. ''There's been a lot of interest in that property, since it's kind of the wellspring for a lot of projects that put the superhero genre into a mainstream setting, and they kind of want to go back to the source of that wellspring. The cool part of the story, of course, being that the group of characters — good or evil — all grew up together, with all of the secrets and resentments of any such group. And whoever gets the show gets 113 superheroes for licensing. So it's going to be a question of who gets it first.''

Heroes is turning out to be much like Lost. Always, the viewer is held in suspense at the end so that he or she will be obliged to come back for the next episode. Eventually suspense fatigue will set in and the show will lose its ardent followers.

Hiro is teh bomb.....Oh wait Peter is the "bomb."  hehehe

Seriously, I can't wait for them show Hiro's transformation from office worker to bad ass ninja dude with big samurai on his back.

On episode 10.  Nice background music at Peter's party "Lily Allen - Smile."

OT:  My take on lost - Season 1 was great, season 2 was kinda cool, but Season 3 well what a disappointment.  I stopped watching after 2 or 3 episodes.

Looks like everybody has a thing or two on the same list.  Jericho, Day break, and heroes.

I know we've been burned before by the whole Sean Bean=Sylar casting issue, but I'm hoping that the news I heard about who's playing the new hero in next year's episode actually turns out to be true. Because it is truly boner inducing.

Also, if you want to find out what happened to Sylar after this episode, check out the online comic.

Heroes received 2 major nominations in this year's Golden Globe Awards: one for "Best Television Series - Drama", and the other for everyone's favorite supa hiro, Masi Oka, as "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television"

HUH!!!  This is a very good show!  What's up with that.  I'm sure this will be shown here.  Maybe Studio 23 or another station got exclusive rights or something!!!

But this is indeed an awesome show.  I got hooked with this one.

That's odd. If you go to StarTV.com, though, and access the program schedule for the Philippines for January 31, Heroes is still listed as airing at 9:00PM:
