I received a claim notice here in my office last March 23 which has a postmark date of March 14. Just went in Pasig Central PO this morning and voila... it's my other package from Amazon that was shipped last Feb. 19. Just glad that it's below $50 and I just paid P35.

This is the first time I received a package that was not delivered by Royale. And to think that Amazon had shipped this from their Kentucky office just like my other package that was shipped on Feb. 16.  :-\ Why oh why?  ???

Now I'm having second thoughts of ordering from Amazon with amount hovering above $50. It seems I'll be splitting some of pre-orders. Mahirap na at baka magbayad pa ako ng mas mahal. I don't mind paying P35, it's the traveling from my office to Pasig Central PO that I don't like doing...

If i may ask where was your previous order delivered before the Pasig PO? i'm having second thoughts ordering (ortigas address) because of the recent delays.

Filed my first lost package report last night.  As Mr. Hankey said, I was told to wait a few more days.  I was told to check the local PO and that it was carried by Deutsche Post , I think Deutsche Post is the company affiliated with Royal Logistics.  Sad to see another lost package from them, they really should find a way to track packages, so that culprits will be caught or inefficiencies corrected.

On my other pending orders. waiting, waiting, waiting...

Well I should be filing a lost order mail to Amazon.com later in the day. The order was shipped Feb 23 and so far wala pa. It was scheduled to arrive last week but they said I should try to wait until the end of March 26 to see if it arrives. I gave them an additional day pero wala pa rin.

I'm not changing my delivery address ever since. My office is located in Emerald Ave., Ortigas Center. Royale always delivered in my office, except for that one package that was shipped Feb. 19.

Fyi. My other order that was shipped March 10 was delivered again by Royale last March 21.

RadicalDude, mabuti ka pa at your package from March 10 naidelivered na...  mine from Jan.26, February 19, and 20 are all somewhere out there, somewhere except my home...

That's why I'm having double thoughts now if I'll push thru with my big orders. There's no consistency yet if it will be handled by Royale or not.

I guess I'll have to wait for my recent order that was just shipped March 21 if it will be handled again by Royale or not...

Nope walang specific company. All they wrote about shipping was:

Further we're happy to provide tracking information for our
customers when possible, but IMEX deliveries do not have tracking
numbers.

Packages shipped via IMEX are sent to nearest regional shipping hub
and then delivered to customers by their local postal authorities.

Your order was handled by IMEX (International Mail Express)
http://www.intmail.com/

Mine was handled by Deutche Post.

Both are transferred to local PO yata.  both are lost somewhere. :(

kt, Amazon Prime yata ang free shipping within the US.  Amazon Prime has annual charges but if you buy plenty, then bawing-bawi.  Prices are as stated on the time of your order (note: prices fluctuates often), plus shipping and handling plus local taxes, if any.  The total is shown before checkout, and you can opt not to order.  Yes, Amazon requires Credit Card.

The postman passed by earlier, but wala pa rin.   Aaaaaaaarghhhh!  Sorry mods, if I am turning this post into a status report on my pending Amazon orders, gotta vent my frustrations somewhere... ;)

I guess my DVD is now the pirates in Quiapo. I do have the other part of this order that has not yet been shipped because it's a preorder. I wonder if that second shipment will beat my first one.

If your order from amazon exceeds $25 you get free shipping if your shipping address is within the US even if you use a Phil. issued credit card. Just look for items mark "qualify's for free shipping".

Still nothing on my February 20th order. Grr!

I just got home after a really long and difficult work day... to find a postal notice. This is my only order that's pending that will arrive at QCPO, so this must be it. Five weeks!

By the way, in case anyone's thinking of availing of Amazon's 4-for-3 promo (for titles $9.99 down), although you will only be charged for three titles (and total order/shipping cost will be slightly UNDER $50), the sticker on the Amazon box will indicate the PRE-discount price, so with shipping, the total printed will be OVER $50. So whether you will be taxed will depend on the mood of your customs officer, despite the order actually being under $50.

Just... FYI.

kt try mo amazon prime if you are having a shipment delivered w/in the states. meron free one month trial and items ship much faster. w/ super saver shipping it usually takes a couple of days for the item to ship and another 3-5 days to be delivered to your doorstep, but w/ amazon prime it ships w/in 24hrs libre pa 2 day shipping.

i tried it this month because i have a friend going to the US and i must say, if i lived in the US sobrang sulit ng amazon prime.

A more decent answer from Amazon regarding my delayed orders:

Thank you for writing to us with your comments about the shipping
method used to ship your recent orders.

We apologize for any frustration you've experienced. It is certainly
not our intention for our customer to have anything but a pleasant
experience at Amazon.com.

I have checked your recent orders #104-0510869-6494344 and #104-
4068467-9302361 and see that the shipping carrier selected for these
orders is International Mail Express (IMEX).

However, I understand that your orders were delayed due to the ship
carrier used.

We are aware that our choice of delivery services reflects on our
business as a whole, and we appreciate your feedback.  I have passed
your message along to our shipping department with high priority, as
I know they will want to read about your experience and take
appropriate action required.

Rest assured that once our shipping department will take appropriate
action to ensure that in future these kind of delays will not occur.

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated in this regard.

Thank you again for taking the time to send us your comments.  We
hope to see you again soon at Amazon.com.

I guess IMEX is the culprit......even the last order I received...the one that took nearly a month to arrive, the courier is IMEX....I just hope they just return the DHL-Royale Logistics route.....

Haayy.. I still haven't received my january 28th order from Amazon.... I already emailed amazon about this and they asked me to wait for one more week.

Question: does anyone know where i could call to follow up on the items... should i call the royale logistics phils. inc.? o sugurin ko na PO? This is the first time that this has happened. I usually receive packages in 12-15 days...

kaka frustrate.

All Royal Logistics can tell you if you call is whether any packages have arrived for you.  It cannot follow-up your order since Amazon decides which company will handle your order.  The same with the local post office.

And with Amazon, you'll have to wait for the estimated ship date to lapse before your complaint will be handled.  All I can think of is to send Amazon a barrage of feedbacks about delayed shipment indicating that while the estimated ship date has not lapse, it is taking longer than usual.  So that they may take notice.

Keeping my fingers crossed that my February 19 and 20 packages are with the PO now and that I will received the parcel notices soon... hopefully tomorrow...

Can't we ask Intmail to pass it on to Royale instead of Philpost??

Intmail (IMEX) handles the cargo from the US to the Philippines, Philpost handles the last mile so-to-speak from the pier or airport to your home.

Royal Logistics only handle the last mile for orders to the Makati/Ortigas areas, they pass it on to Philpost too for other areas.  Royal Logistics handles cargo that were passed on to it by another US-to-Philippines freight company (DHL or deutche post) yata, it doesn't deal directly with Amazon.

That is what I infer from postings here...

Well Amazon.com has given up on my order shipped Feb 23, 2007. They are just going to send me a replacement order. Once again I requested them for the 3rd time to please send it via DHL so that Royale will  handle it when it gets here.

Well nagreply na ang Amazon regarding my replacement order. Here''s what they told me:

First, please allow me to extend my most sincere apologies for any
frustration this matter has caused.

I have researched your replacement order #XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX and
note that it will be sent via DHL Deutsche Post.  There is no
tracking number available for this service, but we do expect your
package to be delivered to you by the date estimated in Your
Account: April 30, 2007.

My question now is, will they only be doing this if there's a complaint? Can we not make a request that shipment, for Philippines, always be handled thru DHL?

Maybe if we bombard them with emails regarding our complaints maybe they might just give in to our request..

I started ordering DVDs from Amazon only last Oct. 30. At first most of my orders arrived w/in 10-12 days at my Makati address but I noticed starting this January most of my orders arrived very late

Shipping Date        Arrived at Mkti CPO       Duration
       Jan. 31                          Feb. 19                              19 days
       Feb. 7                           Mar. 29                               50 days
       Feb. 14                          Mar. 26                              40 days
       Feb. 22                          ????                                   35 days na

Yeah so lets collectively complain and perhaps Amazon will listen...

january 28.... 2 months na...

It didn't go through Royale Logistics.. I guess shipment was lost?
