My usual waiting time is around 10-14 working days. Occasionally, it went up to 21 days & one or two cases above 21 days days.

sorbet, whom did you call or spoken to at the Makati head office? It's hard to specify exactly when the parcel will arrive but surely they can at least estimate?  

Thanks for the reply..wow, that's quite a long time. Unless you count the time they send the stuff to NY/pack the parcels. In my case I send straight to NY and follow up every step of the way.

The normal waiting period according to almost all the JAC staff we talked to is just 5 to 7 days from the time of shipping since it is through air...but maybe corporate rules are a bit different from the retail side...

They even said that this batch is one of the longest, seeing as the package is already in the China warehouse. The shipments after September 20 already arrived too..

The Sept 17 shipments were apparently pushed back 11 days and then the next to ship were those after September 20. It is not that nobody can estimate. They have been estimating every day for more than a week now but the schedule keeps getting pushed back.

The people I talk to are on the retail side. There is a bit of hope though. It might come on Monday because they were finally able to talk to their China contact. Hopefully it will push through this time. :'(  

EDIT: October 4 - Finally my package was delivered in Megamall! It's a huge weight off my shoulders...hopefully JAC's contact (the airlines in China) listens to the company from now on so that no one has to go through the same thing.

thankfully they got your package! I think people at johnny air aren't crooks, it just sometimes things fall through the cracks.. even fedex or major logistics companies have these problems are are just "out of their control"

Yup, they aren't for sure. Sadly, it was their contacts that ended up giving JAC customers a hard time. :(

We pay Johnny Air a fee that is assumed to include all duties and taxes, including VAT, if applicable.
No room acoustic treatment is like running a Ferrari on ice.

Today, I just got one of my packages weighing less than 1 lb., yet I was charged for 2 lbs. I thought the 2 lb minimum weight was waived? What's worse is that my packages were supposed to be consolidated as per my usual arrangement with Analyn in NY, yet they were shipped individually, costing me a lot more than what's supposed to.  :'(

This wasn't the first time that I had issues with JAC. I've been a client of yours for almost 10 years now.

5.50 per pound, plus 2.50 handling fee, and last time i used jac meron na 12% vat added, last year wala, u could just opt to not get a receipt wala na vat, but now kasama na talaga

Starting 2011..they would charge VAT na raw.  No exceptions.
