I got my packages yesterday and was informed that about a week has passed since they started implementing 2lbs minimum package charge even if you are a pdvd member. They should have announced it months before so we can be prepared. Or, they could have emailed their regular customers that beginning such date JAC will be charging 2lbs minimum. It's bad enough that amazon.com split my packages into two, now I paid almost double for each!

I am sorry for my late reply on this matter, Please be advised that the minimum chargeable wt. of a Pinoy DVD member is no longer 1 lb. but 2 lbs.It is imposed starting 2014 that the the standard minimum chargeable wt. will be applied to all our customer which is 2 lbs.
Thus, we will still give discounts on the handling fees of your multiple parcels wherein we will waive it once we received it in US within a week.

Is it possible to just lump multiple packages arriving at the same date/time to your office in NJ into one? Bunch them up into one (with packing tape) then measure the volume, and weigh, and calculate the fee from whichever (volume weight or actual weight) is higher.

I do apologize that we can't do that as we no longer consolidate packages that we received in US.
We all ship all the boxes we received as is.

If a friend or relative based in NY or NJ sends something via JAC to Manila, can said shipping be paid here in Manila, lets say in JAC, SM Megamall?

I ask since I called JAC to ask about this and the guy whom I spoke with said it can be done. So, I requested a friend to send 2 pairs of shoes. Sadly, JAC, USA said it can't be done and my friend was constrained to pay for it.

Have you decreased the volume size computation?

When I first started using Johnny Air I would be able to get shoes that were only charged the volume of two pounds. The other day I picked up a small box and the volume was listed as three pounds and this is much smaller than shoe boxes. It seems now the shoes that I order are always 4 or 5 pounds?

^From what I know, what he should have done is send it to your JAC address. He will pay for shipping from his place to JAC then you'll pay shipping costs from the US to here.

That's the thing. I called up JAC, Manila and spoke to a guy. I told him that my cousin will psychically bring the item to JAC, USA and have it shipped, charged to me, here in Manila. The guy whom I spoke with said "yes" that's why I asked my cousin to proceed.

Anyway, I need confirmation once more since I am sending a new package a week or two from now.
