It does really happen. Take for instance Tower Records, kahit naka mall wide sale ang Glorietta, they are not as aggressive as Astro in terms of "sale" items. Discretion yata nila yan. Im not sure if you can complain tho'.

I see.  Thanks for clearing that up.  Wrong assumption na standard pricing nila pag sale.  Wish I saw the prices here before I bought em.  I agree, their list of sale items aren't as many or as good as say, Astro Podium.  FWIW, here's my complete list:

For the magna parang the same. In fact the sale at the smart center is way better. For example, I did not even see United flight 93 at discounted price( maybe I missed it somewhere). At QC, its already at 333 ata. Just a sample title im saying..

You should've asked the Magna representative in Astro SM Makati for new discounted titles. I got six titles that have never been on sale before. They just didn't put sale tags on them because it was up to the rep if the relatively new titles will be included in the sale. I even used my charms to sweeten the deal on some titles.

Thanks thats good info, maybe il try going back to check it out hehe..I usually go to Astro Sm makati also park in parksquare bridgeway... However yesterday parked at 6750. By the time I finish O in gbelt I was so tired na to check out Sm Makati  hehe..Dvd addicts talaga tayo...Parang treasure hunting hehe..

Most (if not all) of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest DVDs being sold for P299 are the single disc editions. The 2-disc with slip case have been sold out a long time ago. I got my copy 3 or 4 months ago at P750. I think it never reached P299 levels, except for isolated cases.

If you are just after the movie, there are still lots of POTC: DMC single disc editions at P299. They might go back to P450/P550 after the sale though.

Just got back from the Independence Sale of Tower Records & Music One Ayala. There are lots of new Magna titles at the 333 sale price. They include:

I already bought the last five titles during the latest Midnight Madness Sale a couple of weeks ago, so the first two are the only ones I bought  during this sale.
