dumaan ako sa makati square kanina, ang daming artista este speakers. mabuti andun ang voca fs. lakas tumunog. maganda din sa movies at may pagka all around though need lang i-tame ang highs kung music. malaking bagay ang built-in 10" sub. no wonder ito ang gusto mo para sa akin Master A. para sa isang praktikal kagaya ko, maganda itong pangsimula ng setup. pwede sa kantahan, pelikula at musika.

sa mga hindi pa nakakapasyal, bisitahin nyo at masipag naman si Roland mag assist. lupet din nung dual 12" sub! next time ko na lang pakinggan ng mas masinsinan ang bagong "small beast" na Apocalypse.

naglalakihan ang mga sfekers pero sabi nung isang nakausap ko, the best para sa kanya ang Apocalypse.

kung ganun para bang ang salitang best ay naging beAst dahil kay master A... ganern? pwede ha...

sir,i also observed that, bakit nga ba naglalakihan mga speakers ni master anthony? mostly 8" ang size ng mga woofers, except for the Apocalypse.

is the size of 8" woofer better than lets say the usual 6" or 5"? just wondering po.

^ not necessarily. size does matter ika nga pero not all the time. hindi ako expert pero sa experience ko, wala sa laki, nasa timpla. pero syempre hindi mo maririnig sa maliit ang kalabog ng malaki. depende sa intensyon mo. i mean, kung maliit ang room mo ok na ang maliit lalo na kung swabe lang ang pakikinig mo. advantage ng malaki kung malaki din ang room plus gusto mong kalabogan sa kwarto mo. may mga maliliit na speakers na ang husay ng tunog. unggoy unggoy este matching matching lang...

Generally, mas malinis at mas mababa palo ng mas malaking speaker subalit mas lower ang lowpass cutoff due to beaming. Ito naman ikinaganda ng mas maliliit na speakers, they can be cut at higher midrange frequencies at the expense of lows. Ito eh general statement lang naman, speaker design, cabinet, port tuning, etc. contributes din.

Yung King I, 5.5" woofer pero mas may lalim ang bass compared sa Apocalypse dahil din sa design ng baffle.

this is at the expense of delay sa bass minsan eh
(woofer forced to do a subwoofer task)
Dont know the term, on top of my head decay (i csn be wrong though)

Not an owner of said speaker, but i have 2pairs of BS speakers [87 & 89dB] driven by t-amps [smsl sa-36pro & Topping TP20 mk2], kaya naman sir, Apocalypse ata eh 91 dB.

Question lang po, what are the other BS speakers that would approximate the sound quality of the Apocalypse BS. For example, can it go toe to toe with let's say a Kef LS50?

If you're asking about Anthony Audio BS speakers, he has other BS models like the Titus Gold Bookshelf or the Philippians. Best you visit his showroom in Makati Cinema Square to listen to them and bring your t-amp.

I have Genesis BS (2nd gen) and its easily driven by my Lepai TA2020+ T-Amp . . .

I'm sure this T-Amp can easily drive the Apocalyse BS as well

I got myself a pair of Apocalypse BS a couple of days ago, I'm really impressed with the sound quality and I'm just streaming audio from my phone via BT to the amplifier ... it should sound a lot better with a CD player connected ... compared it side by side with my Dali Zensor1 BS speakers, the Apocalypse BS are way much better sounding and these did not have the proper break-in yet ... note that the Dali Zensor1 speakers received a 5-star rating from What HiFi

Tried marantz and onkyo AVRs maganda talaga.
Played Michael Buble Caught in the Act in BD, DTS-HD but in Stereo Mode, ganda ng mids and lows. Good din ang High.
Hahay.. Sayang, mahirap lang talaga kalabanin si kumander
