Omega: excellent mid range, ample Bass.
Typical of all speakers with Vifa tweeter the vocals is pinpoint but the sound stage could be wider and higher.
One remedy is to add a super tweeter to widen and increase height of the sound stage.
On Price to performance ratio, very very hard to find a match for the price of the Omega Series.
Benefits with amplifier on the bright side. If you match with an amplifier that is dark, sound is dull.

beginner lang po.

Ano po ba yung mid range speaker set ninyo. Hindi ko po alam kung updated yung nasa page 1. Balak kung magsimula muna ng 2.1 then unti unti hangang makabuo ng 5.1.

Saka ano pong AV receiver and magandang ipair dito future proofing for the 5.1 setup.

Philippians is 91db so probably pwedeng i pair.pero mas mapapalabas mo magandang tunog kung mas powerful na amp ang ipapares mo,low volume to moderate listening level ok na yan.

You risk losing control of very low bass. You will probably get a low headroom and may not achieve realistic scale for big music. Best to test your amp with this set before you buy.

+1 Mas gumaganda tunog nya pag kayang kaya ng amp in terms of power. hindi bitin kumbaga.

Thanks po sa replies. Meron po ba kayong masa suggest na between 5-10k, 10-20k, 20-30k? Amp and receiver po sana. Amp para sa stereo listening pag ako lang sa haus. AV receiver pag andyan si kumander at kids. Yung philippians kasi me approval na. So amp/avr na lang.

pareho tayo ng dilema pero baka mga August pa ako wala pang budget.

Pinagiisipan ko na yung speaker kaso hindi ko rin alam kung anong AV and Amp yung magandang ipair.

my US Audio speakers are rated 90db, with a 12 watter 6LU8 pp amp, sound is full bodied and loud enough...

Anyways, I strongly suggest to bring your speakers sa mga suking tindahan para maikumpara nyo nang makaiwas papalit-palit. Best also na magsama na kayo para 2 kayong magdecide. Iba iba tayo ng taste o pandinig kaya kahit sabihin kong ok na sa akin ang amp na yun baka hindi para sa inyo. Ika nga e, "what is good to you may not be good to others"

In my experience with aaudio speakers, best kung 100w rms up para mapalabas mo nang husto ang karakter ng speakers esp sa lows. I just don't know with their new lines though. Hth

95w ang rms nya. Laging rms ang tingnan mo sa amp wag yung max o pmpo. Yung mga nakikita mo sa pang karaoke, pmpo yun kaya ang lalakas.

Maganda sana matest o compare mo ang speakers with 95w & 200w (rms) para masabi mo kung masaya ka na sa 95w at for sure makakatipid ka assuming na same brand.

Just own my new Philippians BS, paired with an Entry Level Onkyo AV receiver,,,,, all I can say is " everytime I hear the music from my BS Philippians speakers"... there is always a smile on face...

Next vacation would be the FS and the Center speakers para kumpleto na...

Btw .. thank you so much to Mr. Jose Campos.. where I bought my A-Audio speakers.

Ano kaya nangyari sa Omega ko? Medyo mahina na left speaker nya ngayon compared sa kanan. Di naman sabog yun sounds pero mas mahina na talaga. Inuwi ko sya sa Batangas at medyo matagal ko siya di nagamit. BTW nawala pala yun terminal bridge sa pag transport kaya ng improvise ako at speaker wire na lang kinabit ko. I'm using an old Marantz pm55 to power it

Same case kayo another user who posted today. Swap mo speaker connects left and right. Pag lumipat ng speaker yung paghina, amp or source ang problema. Kung same speaker ang humina, speaker ang problem.

Thank you sir I will try those pag uwi ko mamya. I tried changing the source yesterday from dvd player to dac at cp walang pagbabago e. So most likely po sa amp or speakers talaga.
