Hi guys.. for a small room around 10 to 12sqm

Before I make a final decision, will you recommend going for a BS than a FS?

I'm originally leaning towards the X2T kaya lang baka overkill? I have some acoustic panels not sure how much difference it will make

For that size ok na ang Imagine XB, Imagine XC then you can use Alpha B1 for surround or smaller PSB bookshelf.

After that, i suggest mag concentrate ka sa SUB.. Dual sub if you can. SVS is the best

Ok sabagay..then when I move to a bigger place I can just buy the X2T then use the XB as surrounds..hehehe talagang eversince kasi gusto ko lang magFS kaya parang nakamind set ako dun..

Magandang plan yan sir.... If you will be using a sub, then i suggest you get the bookshelf. Yung natipid mo, mag concentrate ka sa magandang sub

So far for me, SVS is the best sub available here. I've tried diff brands and even owned one. Noon, ayaw ko pa SVS because its expensive so nag try ako ng diff brand. Hanggang sa nakaipon ako and finally nakabili ng SVS which is only last year, then saka ako nag sisi na sana pala dati pa lang nag SVS na ako... Iba talaga SVS sir..

Well i have both SVS and the REL sub, all i can say is SVS won the movies department(Ported ones, PB12NSD to be exatc) and the REL won the Music Department. I tried to use the SVS(PB12NSD) sa music and didnt like it. I tried to use my REL sa Movies and maganda naman, di nya lang talaga kaya ang yanig factor ng PB12NSD. I guess if i compare the REL to let say SB12NSD then it's a different story, though never tried one kasi i dont have the SB model of SVS.

So if purely movies, panalo talaga ang SVS lalo na ang ported subs nila. DUAL agad kung kaya.

I used to own a REL T1 (10 inches with passive radiator).  Maganda din siya for movies pero dahil 10 inches lang, medyo bitin.  If 12 inches siya siguro walang reklamo. But like what Courage said, kulang sa lalim and yanig.  I am using dual SVS SB13Ultra now.  Although hindi siya ported, maganda din naman siya and malalim tumunog.

so the rule is this:

SVS for movies (dual if budget, and space permits)
REL for music (Rel T9 if budget permits coz RelT5 is too small)

Actually, for music, the REL T5 is more than capable. You just have to position it properly, ideally next to a corner. The reason why it's perfect for music is because it can provide you that bass punch wihout overwhelming you with that much LF. Those bass notes just disapear in the environment and integrates itself well with the music. It can be fast and accurate which not many subs can do. For HT purposes,  it will lack the depth and SPL loudness that we crave for. I recommend the T5 for those bass-shy bookshelves.

^ That should work well. The X2T is similar to my T6, both can easily be powered by the AVR.

kaya ba ang X2T/T6 ng 326BEE amp?

MaAudition nga din ito kesa magAdd ng Sub and magSabre BookShelf stand pa for my B6. :)

Naalala ko kasi nacompare ko ito sa Symphony One B kaso walang budget.

You think 326BEE+T6/X2T without a sub is ok na sa Music? Thanks.

That should be ok, pero iba pa din ang may Sub.. I have a T6 before powered by 275Bee and 165 pre, ibang iba pa din talaga ang may sub..

if you can get a One B, mag one B ka kesa T6/X2T.. Mas lamang ang One B in terms of Highs Mids and Lows..

that's why he bought the separates of sir Courage (and i bought sir Neilc's NAD 326) hehe.

By the way, will be selling my X2T soon.

Actually kaya ng 316Bee ang T6/X2T. Doing an A/B comparison vs being powered by an AVR, malaki pa rin ang lamang ng integrated. So what more if there is additional current coming from the 326BEE. 326BEE vs 356BEE, di ko na marinig ang difference.
