Actually i have a kid living in the us but due to schedule its trobleaome for her to coordinate with lbc. Kaya ayun jac pa din ako,faster safer and wala abala. Busy mga tao sa usa ,hindi ganoon kasimple makusuyo

Got to audition the Magnify Mini earlier and got blown away. Supposed to just wait for my HK trip to see if it's cheaper there but just couldn't resist after hearing it. Nasabon na naman tuloy ako paguwi. Pero after marinig ng partner ko nawala na rin galit. Hehe.

Medyo OT, may mga nabibili ba pangsoundproof na ididikit lang sa wall? Medyo rinig na rinig kasi sa labas ng unit ko yung sounds. Sweet spot nya kasi for me is pag 70 and up ang volume.

Guys,
Have you tried feeding directly the soundbar with Atmos, dts:X and any HD Audio (True HD / Master Audio) format?
Capable ba siya mag downscale to 5.1?

Yes capable. But Atmos and DTS-X I haven't tried. However depende din sa material ata.

I don't. However I am presuming na it would turn automatically off if there's no signal from the source.

Its Auto detect , yellow light is on when on stanby mode & it doesnt consume much energy but it you want to power it down for safety reasons then unplugging it is the only way. Or you could use a powerstrip or a single powerswitch adapter to minimize plugging & unplugging w/ just a push of a button. HTH

Might be far-fetched, but has anyone tried both the Magnifi Mini and the cheaper Samsung HW-K450? I'm asking as the K450 is the only one we've tested in a relatively small-sized bedroom and I'm looking for another set for another room.

Heard the Mini last HiFi Show and they're really very good. Manipis tumunog yung Samsung soundbar.

^ hindi manipis but rather muffled sounding most soundbars, idinadaan sa sub na lang to become impressive sounding hahaha. Pero
Magkaiba naman kasi ng price point kaya hindi din patas icompare.

Though mine is Magnifi Max SR, I've seen the mini in action. Maganda din naman ang handling niya ng stereo inputs though iba talaga ang may physical surround speakers. To be sure, bring some DTS materials before you purchase it. Given the physical limitations of the mini, IMHO, hindi ko "ramdam" or "feel" yun pagka-DTS or DD from my point of view because I'm so used to the "true" surround signals. Yes it does not say that it can decode DTS sa specs however the tonality and SQ of the mini is at par, if not, better than most soundbars that I have listened to. Do give it a test.

Only max decodes dts , mini cannot play dts
