Remake has been scrapped. Lore Reyes is doing a flick similar to the theme but definitely not a sequel or part 3 of the original.

Good decision if you ask me.

Somebody should write a detailed article of Scorpio Nights on Wikipedia. The film is worthy of having an online reference.
