By the way, we received news lately that this year, the Hifi Show will be at Dusit, instead of the Mandarin. I think Dusit is 10x better than the Mandarin, in terms of accessibility, so that's good news.

why do they do it on 5 star hotels?, parang pang big time kasi ang dating . why not in more accesible venue like the world trade center, or the SMX. Curious lang po......

My opinion -- You need rooms which are, more or less, acoustically insulated from each other. You can only get that in hotels.

Can you imagine the noise if it were held in an open-type venue? Palakasan ng tugtog.

access to dusit isn't that difficult. it's just a short walk from the ayala mrt station.
