Previously at Plan 280, then upgraded to HD Revo Pack. Sulit ang linaw ng HD... kelan kaya magkaka-HD yung mga local channels?

Dati may HBO at Star Movies ako even in Plan 280, but nawala sya when I use the HD Digi Box. Switch ko na lang sa "direct" line if I want to watch HBO, Star Movies, and the other channels na wala sa Plan 280.

anyone knows te official listing of HD channels ng sky? im a 2+ year subscriber ng cignal, pero mukhang nagpakagat lang sila with their new changes ng channel lineups.

question, i'm on skycable 499 + HD package + disney junior. ano mangyayari if ever irescan ko mga channels.
mawawala b yung ibang channels ko, or the same existing channels p rin? tnx pdvd.

i think wala namang mawawalang channels, kasi nangyari narin sakin yan at madalas pa nga tinatanggal ko yung sim card kasi minsan lumalabas yung check card. Ang mawawala lang ay yung settings mo like favorite channels.

anyone knows how to add a channel to the favorite channel list in coship? i didn't get a manual when they installed the box. i was trying to figure it out myself and can't seem to find that option. tia.

Go to Menu > System Set > Channel Edit > Use the red button to add a channel to the favorite list

sir, naka SD box nga lang ako. pero at home, naka split yun skycable line ko. one goes to the SD Digibox and the other to my CRT TV directly.

sir, nagimprove ba yung quality ng SD channels mo nung nag HD box ka na?

kapag magsswitch ka pla from Revo Pack to plan 899..magbabayad pa ako ng 3500 for the HD box.

nope. naka digibox lng ako.,SD. naginquire lang ako sa kanila wat if kunwari iaavail ko HD nila with Revo Pack. No need to pay for the HD box. but if maguupgrade ka ng plan 899 babayaran mo un HD box for 3500.

mag revo pack ka muna then after a month ka na lang magupgrade. I think wala ka paring babayaran na HD Box pag nag paupgrade pero naka lock in ka pa rin ng 1 yr and it will start by the time na nagpa upgrade ka. Grab mo na habang may promo pa. Sulit naman yung revo pack.

problema lng pag nagupgrade ako babyaran ko un HD box ng 3500php. tinanong ko na kc yan. meh gumawa na ba ng ganito na nagsubscribe ng revo pack then upgrade sa 899 pero walang cash out na 3500?

nagpalagay ako ng 499 + revo pack. after a week nung installation, tumawag sky sakin kung gusto ko iupgrade ung HD ko sa 899. ang binayaran ko lang is installation n 2k para sa 499 plan. since may promo revo pack, kinuha ko without additional payment sa installation.

ginawa ko na to, nag avail ako ng 299 free hd box then after a few days lang nag upgrade nako, wanted to watch nba on hd kasi, wala naman pinabayaran except for the lock up na 1 year sa 899

Question lang po about pagdating sa cable provider,

just bought a 42 inch lcd tv eh.. so sanay tlga mata ko sa CRT pero aware na ako na papanget tlga SD/cable viewing nmin. Analog Cable lang gmit nmin kc Cable link lang kmi medyo snowy at malabo ang picture kc na stretch nga.... only skimmed this thread so the question is lilinaw ba ang Picture quality nmin kung mag SKY Cable kmi kasi gmit ng sky Digital dba? so kpag may digibox din lilinaw ndin? or mas malinaw kung hdmi cable na gmit kaysa sa composite cable khit hd yung content/channel?

not really, having a digibox does not mean it is digital

imagine using same decades old copper wire and plugging a "digibox"
do the math, not all in service area are enjoying the fiber optic technology for this.

mas madami nag complain nung nalagyan ng digibox yung previous direct to tv coax connection nila.
ang intent lang kasi ng digibox is to curve the splitter piracy ng analog cable.

definitely by using digibox mawawala na yung snowy. kung issue sayo ang budget kuha ka muna ng 280 then after a few days switch to revopack to get an HD box. Pero bago ka magsubscribe ask mo muna kung may promo pa sa revo pack. BTW since Cable Link provider mo I guess your from Paranaque or Las Pinas so may line na dyan ng Sky.

SkyCable already uses Fiber Optics in all of its serviceable areas and why would you require a Digibox if you don't have a digital signal passing through those wires. In fact they already have fiber optics way way back, although not the whole of Metro Manila. Sky invested a lot and upgraded their Outside plants to come up with their digital service.

Sky's digibox intent isn't only to curb signal piracy but its one of the main purpose. Sky came up with the Digibox to provide more channels, accommodate Package tiering, provide HD, DVR/PVR and soon VOD.

Pentium4, I know you are a dealer, maybe a Territorial Partner of Cignal but if all of your comments are meant to sabotage SkyCable, you might as well stick posting to the Cignal thread. You're comments which does not have enough basis, are not helpful and are not needed in this thread.

BTW, speaking of complaints although OT, check out Cignal's FB page which has tons of them:

sorry guys that is why i mentioned not all in service area are using those fiber cables.
am talking about sky in cavite...
so, why our area does not have HD service? unless there's other reason why no HD.

I only tried to answer the question of the poster.
If it is not so, then you may delete it for correction.
I stand by it though, digibox is primarily to curve the splitter connection and you may check it on press release when they started implementing it. other benefits was for the HD signal and cable internet.

uy salamat appreciate the quick feedback! yup taga las pinas ako... ang panget kc ng hbo at star movies sa amin.... magkano ba yung RevoPack and HD box prang wla nmn sa webpage nila yun? so kpag nag plan 280 ako may digibox(2k) na yun? tpos tingnan ko yung PQ kpag ok switch ako sa HD na services nila? anu ba gmit ng digibox composite cable ba? tpos yung hdbox nmn hdmi? sorry sa mga bogus questions wla kc akong kakilala dito na nka SKY HD..

Oh and by the way using a digibox improves the picture quality on my LCD by a big margin compared to just plugging in the cable straight to the TV.

sorry teacher, thanks for the correction also, it should be curb down.

digibox improves picture quality from 210k pixel analog broadcast to 480i (307k pixel) standard definition broadcast.
however, to maximize your LCD TV (HD Ready) it is recommended to get at least 720p / 1080i

to check if your sky connection is now fully digital, you should not be able to watch on your tv if connected coax direct to tv.

@ki321:check sky website for details. cable link does not offer hd yet even in our area
