Yung saken nagprompt lang sir sa screen. Parang announcement bigla na lang lilitaw sa screen.

Ang nakita ko lang advantage ng bagong update ng digibox ay sa pag gamit ng irecord, before kasi pag nag record tapos e play mo ung sound ay parang nagpuputol putol parang distorted, ngyn smooth na din ang sound pag play mo video; also the file size ay na reduce na pag nag record, before if i record a hd movie around 2 hrs parang mga around 15gb ang filesize nito, ngyn if i record mga around 6gb nalang ang size ng file

Napansin ko rin yung distorted sound sa old firmware, pero di ako gano gumagamit ng irecord. Kung lumiit na yung file size, baka tinaasan nila yung compression. Sana yung live feed, di affected, parang affected kasi yung HD channels. I kinda regret updating my HD box. As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

ngayon ko lang napansin. yeah mas slower nga yung HD lumabas pag naglipat ng channel.

Mine got the s/w update this morning. While exploring the new UI, I noticed that the resolution default is 1080i, changed it to 1080p. I can't remember if the previous s/w level has 1080p resolution option, though. Is this new, or dati na may option na 1080p?

Yup, time is gone when Info button is pressed. But I like that you can already set the time on when you want the box to automatically turn on or off

Hi everyone. New member here. Napunta ako dito kasi nag search ako sa google about sa new digibox update ng skycable.

Ito yung mga nabago.







May mga bug sya sa program info or high lang mga taga SkyCable.

Katulad nito.



Now, I figured mas maganda ang motion ng channels lalo na HD kapag naka 1080p. So ginawa ko sya na ganun. Kaya lang, kapag nag surf ka ng channel or basta nililipat-lipat mo eh nawawala yung ibang channels randomly.

For example, nawala ang TV5. Then GMA. Then Hero. Then Studio 23. Basta randomly sya nawawala. And ang local channels and SD channels kapag naka 1080p. Smooth ang motions nila pero pag mabilis ang pinapakita na movements ng isang show sluggish bigla. Pero parang naka 60fps ka then sluggish. Pero kapag nag 720p mode ka, para kang naka 60fps. Ang bilis. Smooth lahat. Kapag naka 1080i ka, parang film ang movement at texture. Parang 24fps. Pero pag nilipat mo sa HD channels, 1-2 seconds mag slow motion then okay na. Pero kapag naka 1080p or 720p ka, smooth lahat. Mas mabilis pa nga ata mag show ang channels kapag ganun eh.

The default setting is 1080i. But 1080p is better.

I have a samsung led series 6 tv, I changed the settings from 1080i to 1080p, one thing that I notice right away is when I changed it to 1080p, nagkaroon agad ng ung tinatawag nilang "soap opera effect"..

Any suggestions what's the best setting to do?

Again, the default setting is 1080i even if you restore it to the factory setting it is 1080i. If you use it to the local channels (1080p), the motion that you will encounter is more of a film-like effect. For HD, it's smoother and the frame rate is faster.

also have same problem and someone said here in the thread that it's because of the voltage regulator attached to the digibox.  he suggested to remove this and just plug straight to cable. i havent done it.  ang pag explain kasi this device protects digibox from electrical surges particularly due to lightning.
