Anybody else watched season 1 of Pushing Daisies? Very entertaining, witty show done in a highly stylized way.

Ghost Hunters season 3.

I've been watching the past three seasons at the dead of night. Creepy as hell (especially the Manson murders episode), but I can't stop watching... And night time's the only time I can watch since I'm so busy at work and stuff...

actually finished watching the series and recommended it to my friends to watch it.

very colorful and for me very modern 1940's vibe.

(catherine arriving at home, with gifts for the apo; isadora in the living room seeing catherine)

isadora: oh, so anong gimik nanaman yan? santa claus? charity work?

catherine: hwag kang magulo ah! masakit ang ulo ko! baka gusto mong ihampas ko tong bag kong mas mahal pa sayo!

(isadora stands up and walks away)

isadora: hay, sumasakit din tuloy ang ulo ko. infairness, ang ganda ng bag mo, pati ang dress mo.. pahiram minsan ah..

I'm watching The Gruen Transfer right now and I'm on episode 3. It's an Australian show about advertising. They talk about commercials and discuss what's good, what works and what doesn't. Being an Australian show, I'm not familiar with some of the references but on the whole, I'm finding it interesting and informative. I particularly like the segment where they ask 2 ad agencies to make a commercial to sell the unsellable. So far it's been whale meat, holiday in Baghdad and celibacy. :D

Isn't this on NBC? Pre-empted? Olympics?

Maybe it's just me but shouldn't all the postings of local shows go into Pinoy Entertainment? With all of the posts, I think it might deserve its own thread there already.

From what I understand this thread is for downloaded foreign TV shows. But then I could be wrong. Maybe the thread starter can clarify these things.

Guys, I sent a pm (yesterday at 4:59pm) to voj for clarifications but haven't got a response. Don't know if it's an error again. Anyway, there....if it bothered you. :)

When  i started the thread, it was to point members to interesting shows NOT AVAILABLE locally. Although the title is quite generic, I thought my posts were self explanatory, besides, there are threads for the more popular shows.

Everybody who's into downloading knows that the latest season of most of the popular shows are just starting and you can post to yur heart's content to the various threads dedicatied to these shows.

back to topic: new interesting show: PRIVILEGED - it's similar to ONE TREE HILL, fish out of the water kinda thing.

hope this helps

p.s I didn't receive any pm.  I received an email asing me if I received a pm...

Ok, thanks voj. Then I guess it's an error again you not receiving my first pm. It's just that I've posted a local show (CAREHOME in QTV) since June 29 and no one called my attention.

I agree with that, but I will warn you that "I Love the 80s 3-D" is a HUGE disappointment, especially if you're Pinoy and grew up in the Philippines. A lot of the leftovers they didn't use for the first 2 parts are extremely obscure for people who grew up on our shores.

Get "I Love The 90s", it's pretty funny. And if you can tell me where to find "I Love The 90s Part Deux," I'd really appreciate it.  :)

I Love the 90s got in my queue last night. I'll just finish the 7 or so shows that I watch that came out this morning and then I can get right on it. :)

Sorry, no sighting of 90s part deux in my usual haunts. But I'll let you know if it turns up.

It's another busy Monday night (in the US, that is).

New episodes of Gossip Girl, Prison Break, Chuck, CSI Miami, Raising the Bar, Heroes, Sarah Connor, One Tree Hill, and Life.
