Just came from Podium. They are not yet finished setting up the sale. They haven't put out everything yet, I think. The DVDs are not tagged yet. So I didn't get to see many good titles as of that time.

They have DVD priced at 100. The titles included were the same titles that were included in the Buy 3 Get 6 Promo.

Some recent titles like Knocked Up, Atonement, Evan Almighty are priced between 175-199.

Spiderman 3 (2 disc) is priced at 275. Got one for myself of course.

There are also TV boxsets like Sex and the City, House, Heroes, Sheild, priced around 750. Planet Earth and Jason Bourne Collection are also priced the same.

Maybe later they'll have more stocks out.

If the dvds are priced 100 pesos, same titles on the buy3 take6, its probably same lang when you calculate it. Its just you can buy na individual titles now at 100 pesos. One is not forced to get 9 titles to get the 100 bucks per disc. Any more feedbacks on this sale? Thanks.

Spoke with one of the Astro managers and they said that they should be fully stocked later this afternoon. Magna's deliveries were late apparently.

Not sure if Magna will bring this sale to other branches. Still, the Php175 price point is the new floor for those releases so I'm guessing this won't be exclusive for long.

There were 2disc Casino Royale priced P275 when I left before 1pm, The Shield (TV series) as low as P500 per season. There were a lot of 175s & 275s, I was hoping to get Shrek 3, unfortunately will be available after tomorrow's delivery $:-\$

k lang yun sir. if there were great finds you would be the first to get it. sometimes stocks are not plenty.
ako naman, sometimes i get to hoggle with the price pa kapag unsure pa yung saleslady about the price. sometimes it works

. bago pa malagyan ng correct tag price, i was able to get it cheaper.

Just came from the sale. They also have at P175 - Forrest Gump, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Gandhi, Apocalypse Now, E.T. At P275 - Munich. P100 - From Here to Eternity. They have a boxed set of Alfred Hitchcock films at P450(?) - Rear Window, Vertigo and the Man Who Knew Too Much. They also have other boxed set collections - Barbra Streisand, Al Pacino etc.

The buy 1-take 1 sale on non-Magnavision titles is still on at Astro Podium.

Per the staff, Astro MOA will also have the sale this weekend.

Its not as good then as the Universal CD Sale (http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=80335.0) since these were down to P85 each (Buy 1 Take 1 for P170) and included newer titles like Children of Men.

Spoke with Lotis who heads up the Magna Sales team and she said the Magnamazing promo will transfer to V-Mall next weekend then to Festival after that. They're not replenishing the 2-disc imported releases so kung maubusan, wala na talaga. Apparently the 2-disc Bourne Ultimatum and Transformers variants are gone, gone, gone.

I went back for Casino Royale but ended up buying more than expected:

Pagbukas ko, yung nakalagay sa loob: "DISC 2 - SPECIAL FEATURES".
I tested it in my player, disc 2 lang nga, no movie.

So better check your DVDs berfore leaving the sale! Hassle ito!
