just got it back from Markcrenz audio general hospital

...this guy, markcrenz is really good and reliable

mabilis gumawa....

can I say, na mas gumanda ang tunog ng amp? pansin ko lang, mas detailed na, lalo sa voices....iniisip ko, noong di pa na re repair, may kulang na siguro noon sa output, being bought as surplus....

any sr5008 owners experienced problems with their units?

i've read customer reviews in amazon complaining of failing hdmi connections and losing audio when switching sources.

naku, kamahal pa man din ng marantz sr5008 (kung totoo man yan ha)

maybe they have corrected the problem when they released the sr5009. or if budget permits,better buy the new sr5010.

Never experienced the scenario. Never drops audio when switching BluRay and MediaPlay and vice versa. Maybe an isolated case.

Seasons greetings po. My old pioneer circa model just died down and its taking forever to be repaired. Im thinking of trying out marantz sr5010 with my wharfedale diamond 9 floor standers. Has anyone tried this combo? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

what is your source? HDMI or Coax/Optical?

Sir im using hdmi cable from player to receiver then hdmi out from receiver to tv. It works perfectly in playing music but not in dts movie.totally no spund coming out. Pero ok po sya sa hindi dts na movie

can you borrow another player that can play dts too so that you can isolate that it's the marantz who's not working not the player? what is your player btw?and are you playing dvd/bluray or .mkv file?

anyone using old receivers? would like to get some advise how to connect a subwoofer on a 4300 receiver?

if 4300 does not have a sub out, best to get a sub with a line input/output. you connect LR channels from the amp to line LR input of the sub, then LR output from sub to the LR speakers.

this way, the stereo image will be sent to sub to produce good deeper bass then the mid/highs sent to speakers..
