that's exactly the same speaker sir nelson.  behind the acoustically transparent dust cap is a small waveguide or horn for the compression driver.

Looks promising with the acoustically transparent dustcap! Judging from the FR from the site, mukhang maayos siya even for stereo listening.

you're right sir, these little speakers can go loud and the sound is super clear.  i had it setup in stereo while bench testing and it produced more bass than i was expecting for its size.  my room is small and these speakers are more than enough for surround and atmos duty.

pictures for the ceiling works.. :)

this is right and rear side of the ceiling.  the columns which will house the rear surrounds are partially visible.  you could
also see the speaker box for the right rear atmos.

right side of the ceiling, you could see the 2 right atmos speaker boxes.

installed the divider boxes for the cove ceiling.  dividers will be filled with rockwool.

i used a mixture of blanket and board type 80kg rockwool.

i've always wanted a server rack style with easy access on the back for cable management.  so i had to have the concrete cut and chipped and it was really messy.  and just my luck, lahat ng klaseng wire... electrical, internet, telephone, cable, and intercom ay nakabaon lahat sa pinagbutasan.  anyway, got the wires re-routed and everything worked :-)

first coat of ceiling paint.

front of the avr rack carpentry ready for painting.  also fist coat of stain was applied to the lower level crown and center mouldings, and all 6 columns.  stain's color is not accurate due to crappy cp am.

galing nyo sir! paano nyo ginawa mechanism for the masking system?

sir comet, in the pic below you'll see where i marked a slider with a circle... i have 4 of these sliders situated on the sides of the screen.  2 on top and 2 on the bottom and they slide freely on the surface of the wall.  the 2 sliders on top are connected by a 1x3 piece of wood horizontally across the screen, the bottom sliders are also connected with each other the same way.  on the sides of the screen, the top and bottom sliders are connected by a wire rope with a pulley right above the top sliders so when the bottom sliders move up, the top sliders will move down and vice versa.  this directs the movements of the 2 pieces of 1x3 wood across the screen...the bottom sliders move up and the screen becomes 2.35, and when the bottom sliders move down it shows the whole screen which is 16:9.  to make the sliders move an actuator motor is connected to the bottom sliders.  medyo nakakalito explain sir but it works.

the relay board in combination with a couple of limit switches tells the actuator whether it needs to move up or down.  and another relay that has an infrared capability is also connected to the relay board and allows me to control the whole thing with a remote.

my attempt at a diy 1d qrd diffuser.  to get the exact measurements i used this free app online can't recall the name right now.  i used 1 inch thick kiln dry lumber from the nearest hardware store.  sorry for the crappy picture.. quality actually looks better than what the pic is showing :)

first reflection point side walls.  diy rpg bad panels... it's suppose to do both, diffuser and absorber.

front wall starting to shape up  :)

the rear of my av rack houses the voltage regulators, dedicated circuit breakers, and relays for the ht.

finished pictures.  with the cove lights on... looks like ceiling is on some kind of blue fire  :)

universal remote control.  i'm using a cheap 7" tablet to control everything through irule.  very powerful and customizable... it's a work in progress since i haven't quite figured out all the features yet.

seats, pin lights, screen, etc...

here's a video of the screen in action.  this is a 128"(16:9) fixed framed screen that goes up to reveal the LED TV and down to cover the TV again.  also shows the masking system working.  pardon the background noise, my ht is right next to the kitchen.
