when you mean by rear port is that the internal sub "air" goes out the rear hole?

black indeed is beautiful. my set up is composed of an all black gears too. ganda ng ste up mo sir disturbed. tingin ko pwede mo ng palitan ang handle name mo ng iba baka "RELAXED" n instead of disturbed

I want to update this old thread of mine..my PV80 died last Apr 14 2012..and cleaned up the HT setup after 2 mos and stored away..bought a new Display just last Wed hehe..thanks to the long weekend, I was able to set up the HT again..same components except for the display

Since I upgraded to a 3D and Full HD display, I want to buy a blu ray player..been looking for one that has dual hdmi out since the receiver is not capable to pass thru 3D

will post pictures when I go home to pampanga this weekend.

wala pa din ako ng pic dun sa updated display sa pamp lol..I'll post pic this weekend..

anyway here is my simple setup sa apt..madalang na lang ako makauwi sa pamp so I decided to build a simple setup..this was not my first plan..my plan is to go for my final headphone setup..but decided to go speaker route..the listening room was a challenge, which is why I am contemplating going back to my original plan..but before that picture muna lol

@sientobente - emotiva din un sir, stealth dc-1 (dac/preamp), when I sold the xda-2, naisip ko buy ulit dac-pre, pero gusto ko same foot print lng ng mini-x kaya ayun lol

Hi Superman, here is a quick review I did on the Olive One thread > http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,174752.60.html

regarding on the SQ, I haven't had any critical listening yet, but nothing jumped or I haven't notice anything that is worth mentioning right of the bat, using the Olive as transport (with external DAC/pre) and using it as a source (line out to amp)..I say the DAC inside the Olive One is pretty darn good..I know the limitations of my setup so I will try to conduct two listening tests..with the Dentons and with my incoming Hifiman HE-560..

since mas madami oras ko nakababad sa office kesa sa bahay..built a simple headphone setup..

retiring my old walkman mp3 player from 2008 (still working naman) and replaced it with a pre-owned FiiO X5..the owner wants to change his DAP to Ibasso DX90

rebuilt my grado sr80i from 2008 didn't use it for almost 2 years because I disassembled it lol..(changed the headband, the cups, the liberators, the pads and got some cardas cable too but did not use it.so I soldered back the stock)

but all these years, been wanting to upgrade my trusty sr80i..and decided on this one..bought it 2nd hand sa US..hindi ko maatim ang SRP lol..abang mode and tawad tawad sa forum

been searching for a small amp to power these because I cannot bring shoebox size amps to the office lol..I was also limited by my budget as I don't want to spend a lot, which is why I was targeting FiiO E12DIY and Cayin C5..but due to some luck and timing of my search, I got a very good deal and ended up buying it..presyong 2nd hand din ito pero brandnew lol

*I still want to demo the two amps I considered before..or not..hehe

now my second hand/pre-owned setup is complete..and no more..maybe in 10 yrs again

*I really want to thank all those people who upgrades a lot, if not been for you guys, I would not have completed this hihi
