hopefully we can see a denver vs lakers showdown down the line

even dallas has a pretty good chance of beating denver and advancing to the conference finals.  ;)

I don't agree suspending Dwight Howard for that technical foul. Dapat fine lang since it's a playoff game and DH is Magics heart and soul.

For Rondo, I think he made the best decision with that hard foul. IMHO it was a hard foul but not a technical flagrant one. Dapat na shoot ni Miller yun, no excuses.

Regarding Rondo, if not for him, out na Celtics. Sobrang galing nya!

This is my bet in the Western Finals. 4-2 Lakers.

dapat suspended si rondo sa ginawa niya kay brad miller kanina. dapat kasi alisin yung idea ng "playoff foul" kasi kung dumarating sa point na ganun ang foul na binigay eh dapat turuan ng lesson ng league.

if it was a FIBA tournament, unsportsmanlike foul agad yun. basta hindi bola ang hinabol and hard foul...

Matagal ng uso sa PBA ito..he he.. Remember the Ginebra Jawo days?  Whew!!  Anyway. Missed free throws by Brad Miller ( an 80% something FT shooter at that ) were disappointing.  May daga din pala.  Allan Caidic or Bogs Adornado would have done a better job of sending the game to a 2nd OT.

( am rooting for the Bulls and my main men Ben Gordon and Derrick Rose .. )

Watta game!  This series really deserved a Game 7.  Pressure's on the defending champs to win on their home court.  Which one to watch - Game 7 or Pacquiao-Hatton?  ???
We deserve better.

Rose showed up and Rondo didn't, offensively.. the Celtics really need Rondo to get going offensively.. it's going to be an interesting game 7.. the Bulls have played great at Boston in this series.. they almost won all 3 games..

I'm no Celtics fan, I'm no Bulls fan, I'm a die hard Spurs fan...so, I don't really care who wins between the two teams...because, the fans wins...this is the best and going to be the best playoff series this season...BAR NONE!!! WOW!!!

Hey, as long as Rondo is averaging a triple-double this series, who cares if he is a bad boy...we love those bad boy on the court and delivers those triple-doubles... ;D

Man, I gotta give Rajon Rondo props for the awesome series he's been having. Never mind Rey Allen's sweet shooting or Paul Pierce's timely takeover when it matters, it's Rondo whos making it all happen at both ends of the court. Is he still averaging a triple double? Dayum!

Re: Flagrant Foul

Yeah, Rondo got away with it and the NBA will now face the consequence of players copying what Rondo did. Not really a bad foul, but under today's rules, it should have been a flagrant. And Rondo added to his greatest hits collection by elbowing Heinrich. Man, Rondo's playing awesome; but someone from the Bulls has gotta deck him and see if he can take some of what he's been giving lately.

it should have been a flagrant.

i believe the refs gave Rondo a flagrant 1 foul, dapat flagrant 2 and automatic ejection from the game. with the series going to a deciding game 7, the Celts dodged a bullet there, flagrant 2 ata is an automatic 1-game suspension.

that's what i thought too.  but bynum got a flagrant 2 by decking gerald wallace but was not suspended.  same w/ ariza i think...flagrant 2 but was not suspended.  maybe it's not automatic anymore.

FOULS: FLAGRANT-UNSPORTSMANLIKE

To be unsportsmanlike is to act in a manner unbecoming to the image of professional basketball. It consists of acts of deceit, disrespect of officials and profanity. The penalty for such action is a technical foul. Repeated acts shall result in expulsion from the game and a minimum fine of $1000.

A flagrant foul-penalty (1) is unnecessary contact committed by a player against an opponent.

A flagrant foul-penalty (2) is unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent. It is an unsportsmanlike act and the offender is ejected immediately.

The offender will be subject to a fine not exceeding $35,000 and/or suspension by the Commissioner.

See Rule 12B-Section IV for interpretation and penalties.

For flagrant foul 2 since and/or, suspension is no longer indeed automatic.

Its a missed call from the start.

If you're going for the ball, you should have at least open palms....not a closed fist.

On the other hand....ok lang na nagmissed call.....we have a game 7.   OK na OK to sa mga NBA fans like me!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Funny post-Game 6 rant from a Boston die-hard.  If Garnett plays tomorrow and does a Willis Reed, that'll be the perfect ingredient for a game that will top all the drama that Game 6 offered.  Or maybe if Jordan and Bird suddenly suited up.  ;D

I know we will be overwhelmed with Pacquiao-Hatton telecasts tomorrow.  But does anybody know where Game 7 will be aired live?  I assume it'll be Solar, and I don't have BTV yet.  Live kaya sa C/S 9?  :-\

It will be on BTV and most likely CS. None of the stations will be showing the Pacman-Hatton live.
So you will still get to see Game 7 but unless it's a quadruple overtime game I don't think it will meet our expectations. Sana lang wag blowout, kahit close game lang pwede na.

8am yung game 7.  Most likely, di sya magsasabay sa Pacman-Hatton, unless OT uli plus quick endings sa mga boxing undercards.
