Buti na lang we still have the Mark Jackson-JVG-Mike Breen trio in BTV.

I like the way Mike Breen says "Bang!" when somebody hits a crucial shot. I hate the local commentary which took over for the past 2 games. Dr. J misreads calls and says Gasul. The only good thing about it is that they don't have Quinito Henson with them. I hate that guy's braindead and fake know it call commentary.

The funny thing is... you can't really resist and not watch the CS coverage just to catch on Andy Jao's comedic blunders  ;D! Ako nga pinanuod ko sa BTV tapos yung reply sa CS - nakakatawa si Andy Jao! I think he was just a last resort as a host kaya scrammbling for NBA update sya. Ni hindi na yata nya kilala mga NBA players ngayon e  ;D.

On MAgic loss: if Howard at least made 1 freethrow panalo pa sila. Madami nagkamali sa Orlando: van gundy, howard, jameer nelson, pietrus, and Lewis (for being invisible and folding up again as usual).

Si Kobe, nagbwakaw na (nanaman) sa huli. Buti na lang Fisher, Ariza and Gasul ( ;D) bailed him out (again).

Grabe yun, natawa ako dun sa Gasul at yung naelbow ni Kobe sa throit.

Pietrus was almost suspended for that two fisted flagrant foul on Pau Gasol.  Good thing Stu Jackson ruled out otherwise.  With or without Pietrus, I still think Magic will win next game.  And Lakers to do it back in LA.  For more drama. Hollywood remember?  But Lakers are such on a high now that they just might wrap it up in Game 5.  But I doubt it.

--

Now that Kobe is on his way to winning his 4th crown and his 1st without Shaq, his detractors are now saying that he has to win it without Fisher.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/11845571

He he.  Wawa naman si Kobe.  But remember the guy's only 31 years old, the same age that MJ won his first 3-peat.

Lakers will go for it on game 5.   Right after winning game 4, Kobe, Phil, and Fisher reminded the team on how they were defeated badly by the Pacers in the 2000 Finals,  by 33 points in game 5.   They definitely wouldnt want this  Orlando team to have any sense of momentum wherein they could ride off it and charge a momentous comeback.

Watched the G4 replay the other day on C/S 9.  While Fisher was jacking up for the game-tying trey, Dr. J - unable to contain his excitement - called Jameer Nelson "JAMAR".  Holy cow, Andy Jao!  :D

At this point in the series, I think it is now largely a mental struggle for Orlando: down 1-3, with no team in Finals history successfully rallying to win in 7 (although two teams almost made it); meltdowns and what-ifs in G2 and G4; everybody (including the Magic players) second guessing the coach's endgame strategies.  Must be pretty tough and disheartening for the Magic to have this kind of mental baggage at this stage.

LA has to capitalize on this and strike early tomorrow in G5.  I hope Phil does a better job of motivating his players to this end than SVG.
We deserve better.

D12 is really frustrated. He's making bad play after bad play. tsk tsk tsk. Good LA defense on Hedo.

It's been a good year and a good run for the Magic. I believe there'll be a lot of things for Dwight to improve in the coming preseason.

Though I have the biggest doubt that either of these two teams will make the Finals next year, with a potentially revamped LeBron roster and a fully-complemented Celtics would join the melee.

I knew it was over as early as the 1st half, Lakers up by 12.  I felt that the Lakers was going for the kill and the Magic was missing badly from the 3 point area.  Viva LA LAKERS!  Yehey ;D

Lakers won 4-1 but in those 5 games, the Lakers only dominated games 1 and 5.  Game 3 was won by the Magic.  Game 2 could've been won by the Magic had Lee made that 1 foot layup.  Game 4 SHOULD've been won by Orlando had Howard made at least 1 free throw and Nelson fouled Fisher.  So ain't that bad for Orlando.  For a team to beat the defending champion Boston in 7 games and almost swept the heavy favorite Cleveland, I'd say not bad at all.

Orlando is a young team.  But hey so is the Lakers!  Kobe and Fisher are the oldest players in the lineup and they're only 31 years old.  Kobe has matured as a player tremendously and is now surrounded by young, tall and good players so the Lakers look pretty solid in the years to come ( With or Without Coach Zen Master who's most likely retiring soon ).

So till next time.  This forum was a blast!  Thanks to Wiggum.  See you next year!!

(NCAA and UAAP naman mga tol...)

Ariza and Odom are unrestricted free-agents.  They should be re-signed.  Kobe should do a Magic, opt-out, take less money to accomodate those two.  But I doubt it.

Jerry Buss should re-sign them, even if he plays luxury tax......this is a champion team.
