Iba na pala yung Mtv ngayon. puro na OPM(Original pilipino Musi) di pala OPM, RPM(Revival Pilipino Music) na pala ngayon. Di katulad noon na may maraming magagandang palabas tulad ng pimp my ride, punked, celebrity death match, jackass, alternative nation, MTV Classic, Boiling Points, vh1 specials at mga live concerts or unplugged. Mas naapreciate ko na ngayon yung channel V. Hehehe. Yung Mtv parang Viva channel lang.

Yup. Afaik, Viva had the rights of Mtv Pinoy. . In fact, it is transmitted along with PBO and Viva on the same freq in Measat 3a satellite. .

I think there's a glitch on the latest firmware of Pace stb. I was tinkering with my settings on how to display the SD signal. There were 3 choices: stretch, pillar box and cut and top. If stretch or pillar box, no problem. But when I tried the "cut and top", it freezes the screen if my previous channel is HD. Only audio is change but not the video.. I had to restore to factory settings to make it work again..

Cignal is telling us 1,590php subcribers that one of their HD channels is a certified DD+, how can that be? where there hardware(PACE HD STB) HDMI out port only supports stereo audio as what PACE user manual states thus its HDMI port is only ver. 1.2 and below. I tried emailed them about this but so far i got no answer from them, mag 2-weeks na. I would say Cignal is making false claims.

Is it just me, or are others also having signal problems? Can't get past STB starting up screen.

Plus, Cignal hotline seems to be down.

Sa akin walang palabas ,,baka nawala sa allignment or may problema Cignal?

Meron sa akin (QC Commonwealth area). Kaya lang pag ganitong ang hinahanap ko pa rin yung DZMM Teleradyo. Tsk sana magkaron to sa Cignal. Wala kseng alternative, walang silbi TV5 news.

Nakapasok ako sa hotline nila, pero nasa office ako, kaya wala ako sa harap ng STB.

Had to convince them na ginawa ko na lahat including factory reset para may tech pupunta sa bahay.
Hopefully, maayos na nila today or tomorrow.

Ginamit ko yung 1 800 number since di gumagana rin sakin yung normal hotline nila.

btw, does anybody here really experience DD+(dolby digital plus) in their two HD channels namely Universal and MTV channels? Coz their HD STB's HDMI-out only supports stereo audio as what the user manual says.

sabi ko nga eh, there's something wrong about this DD+ feature kasi yung AVR ko will just notify sa display nya, that it is only decoding a PCM stereo signal I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong about my cabling coz i'm using a v1.4 HDMI cable. May problema cguro sa kanila STB hardware(PACE HD box) coz the user manual states that its only capable decoding PCM Stereo sa HDMI side thus it's a v1.3 or below na HDMI port. So for now sa Coax port lang muna ako. Cignal grabe naman it seems you guys don't know what your talking about tapos wala pang reply sa email.

Thats why I don't use my AVR when viewing Cignal. Had it on PCM and bypassed the AVR. I just turn off the AVR when watching tv.. tipid pa sa kuryente..

yep, most likely mis-aligned yan...

my dish was also mis-aligned by the typhoon(no channels at all)....just did a DIY alignment fix using the ff: (just from the top of my head, yung 'kodigo' ko nasa bahay)

dish should be pointing at 220 degrees SW
angle of the dish pointing up should be at 65 degrees

Nakaka ingit kayo kaya magpapakabit na din ako. I think ill get the P990 package and still retain my Destiny cable as backup.

Just need Cignal for 2 tv sets sa house. Btw, once you finish the 24month subscription, do you get to keep the stb? That way magamit mo for another room on the next subscription?
